The following is from Fr. Z's blog. It seems like a fairly solid piece that touches, thematically, on much that has been posted/discussed here in recent days. Perhaps a post for discussion. Regardless, please do not post this comment as I used the combox simply for efficiency.
I'm by no means condoning what occurred, but, the effort put into breaking and stomping on the pieces of the statue seems like someone with a problem besides vandalize and run. Perhaps under the influence of something? Her dress, what little of it can be seen, doesn't seem consistent with someone who planned an attack of this sort. Almost seems like a random reaction while walking down the sidewalk.
Check out ‘Hit ‘em Up Style’ by the Chocolate Drops. Mad women have nearly infinite strength. I also agree with the psychosis theory. We have a local man that attacks our parish with some amazing strength and agility.

Perhaps a SSJ, RSM or an OP.

Freak! Going straight to Hell. I feel sorry for Our Lady how she must feel, so so sad.
Yes it does appear to be someone in a psychotic state, either a mental psychosis or brought on by drugs, etc. We need to pray for her.
Video should be sufficient to identify the individual
It's a "composite" (plastic) statue. No great "workout" or "transgendered" necessary.
