I AM AFRAID THE HOLY FATHER HAS BROUGHT THIS CARICATURE UPON HIMSELF

I found this photo on Facebook. What is promoted and what is suppressed is heartbreaking and like a nightmare:

Oh brother if you should only see the comments on Facebook, Twitter, traditional Catholic websites even non-Catholic websites, this man is a one man wrecking crew what in God’s name is he doing? He has become a laughingstock how very very sad that the Seat of Peter is the laughingstock of the Catholic and non-Catholic world even the main stream media is asking why is he going after traditional Catholics these Catholics believe in everything the church teaches yet they are on the receiving end of his anger. On Rorate’s website today It states that a pope who changes the liturgical rights of the church is a Schismatic himself he has NO authority to do this. There is something fundamentally wrong with this man, he Is leading the church into a complete nosedive somebody in Rome has to stop this before it’s too late.

Pope Francis can have his Pacha Mama pagan statue worship I will take the traditional Latin mass instead to save my soul. The Bible clearly states you should have no idols before me yet Rome now has the Pacha Mama Idol and again it is not the Virgin Mary that is a false statement by Rome sorry boys ain’t gonna work we’re not that dumb. Just remember prior to the council Mass was at 75% Mass attendance today 10%!

I can't disagree however, I suspect the HF won't be concerned about image as really does not need to be.

OK I’m a Novus Ordo catholic, I believe in abortion, I believe in gay rights, I believe in contraception, I believe in women priests, I believe in married priests, can I receive holy communion I asked the pope of course you can my son. I’m a Roman catholic who attends the traditional Latin mass I am pro life, anti-contraception, anti-woman priest, against gay marriage, can I receive Holy Communion Pope Francis? No my son you are rigid, hate Jesus and Mary, hate your neighbor, and downright mean. It sounds silly and funny my friends but this is where it’s come to literally it’s upside down and sinking further and further and further. And by the way the list is coming of diocesan Latin masses being canceled altogether throughout the United States and the rest of the world. I have read comments on other websites that TLM priests are literally crying at the altar and while giving Holy Communion after telling the congregation the Latin mass has ended by order of their bishops. Is this what the pope really wanted to happen??

Don’t give up everybody, go to your traditional Latin mass, support your priests, invite new people to the traditional Latin mass, give your parish financial help, go to confession, Pray the rosary, don’t eat meat on Friday, and please please pray for the conversion of Pope Francis

No one can say for sure except the pope.

But if common sense, a review of his record with Traditionalists and horse sense mean anything, the answer is pretty obvious.

I can't judge the disposition of anyone's soul, especially not the pope. But when I think that right before this happened, he spent over a week in the hospital, confronting his mortality more deeply than ever before--the fact that he would do this in light of that, has some SCARY implications. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what I mean.

Love the "divisive" pictures but not the Pachamama pagan statue.

My own feeling, even without the perceived, or actual misbehavior by SOME (NOT all) Catholics who seek the TLM experience as a contributing factor is that, yes, he wants this "fad" as he's called it to end. In recent years, he's effectively canonized the council and to the detriment of many souls, it appears that worshiping it verses Christ in two eucharistic experiences that SHOULD be complimentary is paramount. This is our passion. This our time of wondering in the desert. Perhaps reflection and prayer are called for to learn, grow and find hope in this. As a Byzantine Ruthenian, I do not have a direct interest in this trial, however, I ache for those around me - including many from this virtual community - who are presently suffering in some way. Imagine all the saints who either attended, or, celebrated this form of mass looking down upon this wondering....why? Pray for their intercession.

I used to attend a Byzantine-Ruthenian Catholic Church in my hometown from time to time, Holy Angels Byzantine Rite Church. I can't help but wonder why the pope doesn't find THAT rite to be divisive from the Novus Ordo? From what I remember it was a very tightly-scripted, rigid type of ritual.

The lies, and false imageS, promoted against the Vicar of Christ, Pope Francis, are Satanic.

Pope Francis did not bring that upon himself.

A few weeks ago, the folks who have trashed him today, reminded liberals that Pope Francis rejected same-sex blessings as evil.

They informed liberals that Pope Francis — he is "Pope Francis" when "traditionalists" agree with his teachings, otherwise, he is "Bergoglio" — had spoken. The case in regard to the blessing of a same-sex union was closed.

====================================================================================

"Traditional" Catholics were not enraged when Pope Francis "slapped" Pope Benedict XVI's face in regard to the SSPX.

Pope Benedict XVI:

"In order to make this clear once again: until the doctrinal questions are clarified, the Society has no canonical status in the Church, and its ministers – even though they have been freed of the ecclesiastical penalty – do not legitimately exercise any ministry in the Church."

Pope Francis has moved the Church far beyond the above teaching.

Anyway, certain folks will delight in their having caricatured Pope Francis in false fashion.

Conversely, the Holy People of God will delight in standing in loving, respectful fashion, with Pope Francis.

Pax.

Mark Thomas

Pope Saint Pius X:

"Therefore, when we love the Pope, there are no discussions regarding what he orders or demands, or up to what point obedience must go, and in what things he is to be obeyed...whoever is holy cannot dissent from the Pope."

Robert Kumpel,

PF doesn't need to. His predecessors in addition the Irish/German Episcopacy in the U.S. around the turn of the 20th century did more than enough damage resulting in two schisms in this country. One of those who left was ultimately glorified (canonized) by what became the Orthodox Church in America (St. Alexis Toth). Another became the founding bishop of the American Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church (Metropolitan Orestes Chornock). Additionally, Latinizations were prevalent until, perhaps, the last 10 years where true Byzantine tradition and praxis again took root.

The traditionalists can just have their masses in the catacombs again like they used to, or perhaps a barn in Bethlehem. Isn't that the plan anyway?

Changing the Subject but I have an important question. During my Bible Study group someone suggested that the Group read and discuss the Book of Enoch. They claimed that even tho it was not in the Bible that is was at one time highly thought of and even Quoted in Jude. I will leave this Bible Group if they take the time to read and discuss the Book of Enoch. From what I have understood as a Catholic is that it is a distraction from Bible Study and even is in conflict with Catholic Church teachings. Would someone please let me know what you think of a Bible Group reading the Book of Enoch. Thanks

Anon at 6.46, regarding changing the subject. My husband said yesterday that this is the last straw for him.
Starting this Sunday he is joining a local Protestant church. The sort of church where the emphasis is actually still on, for example, following the New Testament on everything from the divinity of Christ, the atonement and the resurrection of Jesus; to the core truths of marriage and sexual morality, as presented in the NT.

A little church and a small congregation that does kneel before the "values" of pagan, post Christian Western nations.

Luckylady,

When people like your husband leave the Church, Francis wins.

If he cared about the needs of Traditional Catholics, he would take pastoral initiatives for those needs, not callously alienate us. HE WANTS you to leave the Church and he is counting on it. Don't fall for the trap.
