BIRETTA HAS ARRIVED FOR EF ALL SOULS' SOLEMN SUNG MASS AND SO HAS OUR SCROLL OF THOSE WHO DIED IN MY PARISH THIS PAST YEAR

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace. Amen.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
I am want to be buried in this! O happy fault, o necessary sin of biretta! Pom Pom and all! Just watch, I'll be named a monsignor and won't be able to wear this one!

It fits very nicely, and the pom pom is quite subtle, at least at this angle. Just steer clear of anything like this, though ...

Does the biretta increase your inner sense of priestliness, Father?

(I can only imagine the controversy some will take from this comment... Yes, we know the hat doesn't make the priest...)

Yes, very smart - birettas rule! And wonderful to have a Traditional Mass on All Souls Day.
