A PASTORAL MEETING IF THERE EVER WAS ONE WITH NO ENCOURAGEMENT TO CONTINUE ANY KIND OF IMMORAL BEHAVIOR AND NO MENTION TO BE COURAGEOUS!

If the video above is a formal audience with the pope, then formal audiences with the pope have changed. This is not a formal audience but a brief meeting with an acquaintance who is a former student who happens to be gay with some of his friends to include his partner. . No where in this video does Pope Francis say any words to him like the ones he said to Kim Davis in his much shorter encounter with her, no where!

This is what Pope Francis said to Kim Davis in a briefer encounter and it is backed up with Pope Francis' documented answer to Terry Moran about Kim Davis and conscientious objection as related by Kim's lawyer:

“We wouldn’t expect the pope to weigh in on the particulars of any case,” Staver said. “Rather, the meeting was a pastoral meeting to encourage Kim Davis in which Pope Francis thanked her for her courage and told her to ‘Stay strong.’ His words and actions support the universal human right to conscientious objection.”

The pope doesn't like being used by his friends. The man in the video is the Pope's a gay former student. Kim Davis is not a friend or a former student. Who is using whom here?

This is what the pope's gay friend say about the reason he released this video:

"Grassi, who said he is not Catholic, said he decided to make his meeting public because he felt Davis was misrepresenting her encounter with the pope."

My last comment: It is clear to me that the gay acquaintance is using the pope in his cordial meeting where the pope makes no references to this man's gay partnership whatsoever, in order  to push the gay agenda in the Catholic Church! If I were the pope, I would be insulted for being used in this way! Kim Davis and her lawyers have not been this obnoxious!

Just a reminder:

"The Holy See is aware of the reports of Kim Davis meeting with the Holy Father. The Vatican does not confirm the meeting, nor does it deny the meeting. There will be no further information given."

Uh-huh...expect when the Pope Francis-Kim Davis meeting had given peace and hope to holy Culture of Life forces who oppose Satan's Culture of Death sodomite forces determined to destroy marriage and family.

Suddenly, additional information flowed from Vatican spokesmen.

Pax.

Father,

I do not mean this with any disrespect, but your blog appears to be losing its compass. There is so much media hype that you are falling right into about who is right about the pope and who is behind what actions of the pope and how people are responding to the pope that it's, frankly, becoming quite boring.

And with no disrespect to this pope, I am beginning to find him rather boring too. Francis Fatigue is setting in on a number of us. There is obviously something unclear and confusing about this papacy. I am not calling the pope evil, but it is helpful to remember who the author of confusion and dissent is.

Can we have a moratorium on the Francis stuff for the while. Sooner or later, he's going to die or retire. For now, we live with him. Let's just give all this extraordinary attention a rest.

My god we are in more trouble than I thought. It's becoming more clear that we are not in normal times. Something big and not good or holy is coming down the road.

Impossible.

From Vatican I to date, and with the rise of instant communication systems, the attention paid to Popes, within and without the Church, has increased to the point where everything a Pope does...where the Pope lives...the carrying of his own briefcase...what he said today...where he takes his meals...

...is major news.

I know many intelligent Catholics and non-Catholics who insist...and this is the truth...that His Holiness Pope Francis is the greatest, most humble Pope in history as he has been photographed and filmed carrying his own suitcase.

The scenes of Pope Francis having carried his own suitcase is perhaps the one image of the Pope that has most resonated throughout the world.

When the world goes wild over a Pope who carries his own suitcase, then it's impossible to "give all this extraordinary attention a rest."

Pax.

Pope Francis has entrusted leading dissenters with the responsibility of drafting the final report of the Synod

The committee consists of ten prelates, at least seven of whom hold so-called “progressive” views. Voice of the Family has already raised particular concerns about:

Lorenzo Cardinal Baldisseri, General Secretary of the Synod of Bishops
Archbishop Bruno Forte, Special Secretary of the Synod of Bishops
Donald Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington
John Atcherly Cardinal Dew, Archbishop of Wellington

I agree and that could be the upcoming synod on the Family which opens Sunday. Lifesite News latest report doesn't augur well for that:

"Pope Francis has entrusted leading dissenters with the responsibility of drafting the final report of the Synod

Also considered “progressive” are Archbishop Victor Manuel Fernandez, Rector of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, Bishop Marcello Semeraro, Bishop of Albano, and Adolfo Nicholas Pachon, Superior General of the Society of Jesus.

7. A committee has been established to supervise the synod… and it will include Cardinal Baldisseri and Archbishop Forte

At this morning’s press conference Cardinal Baldisseri reassured journalists that there was no need to be concerned about allegations that the synod would be manipulated because a committee of ten would oversee the proceedings. He then announced that the membership of the committee would include himself and Archbishop Forte. In other words, the committee which is supposed to give us confidence that no manipulation is taking place includes the very men most implicated in the manipulation.

Jonathan Swift, the foremost prose satirist in the English language, could not have invented a better tale than the true story of the Synod on the Family."

We must pray very hard that the Synod will uphold Catholic teaching.

Rorate Caeli report on the Pope's meeting with the same sex couple:

"The Vatican's statement throwing Kim Davis under the bus earlier today also said that "the only real audience granted by the Pope at the Nunciature was with one of his former students and his family." Now we know that this "family" was... precisely this "same sex couple" and some of their relatives (apparently - the lady portrayed by the media as the mother is just a friend...). Intentionally or unintentionally, this is the first time that an official Vatican mouthpiece has called a "gay couple" as a family -- or at least as part of the same family. Let that sink in...

Henceforth any Catholic who does not wish to give or abet scandal by warmly welcoming a "married" homosexual "couple" to their home or to a gathering can be easily attacked for being "more Catholic than the Pope".

We must admit we were too hasty: it was not the Marxist crucifix, but this, with the beaming Pope, the literal barrenness of it all, and the nuclear division it announces for the Church in the decades ahead, that is the defining image of this Pontificate."

This is indeed serious that a Pope would meet up with an openly gay couple and allow the whole thing to be recorded for the world to see.

It gives scandal ...
