FINALLY! THE BISHOP APOLOGIZES

I totally agree. The following statement in his letter is very disturbing at so many levels:

“We should not have allowed ourselves to be bullied and pressured into making a statement prematurely, and we take full responsibility for it,” he wrote. “I especially apologize to Nicholas Sandmann and his family as well as to all CovCath families who have felt abandoned during this ordeal. Nicholas unfortunately has become the face of these allegations based on video clips."

So the bishop was "bullied?" What a man, what a leader! I think he is tacitly admitting the evil, corrupt, pro-abortion national media is his guidepost rather than Christian teaching. Is it any wonder that the Catholic Church continues to shed membership when it has feckless leaders like this "bishop?"
