ARE THE CATHOLIC BOYS FROM COVINGTON, KENTUCKY VICTIMS OF THE LIBERAL PRESS WITH ITS POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS BIASES? IN A WORD, YES!

Critics Push Back Against Media Reports Covington Catholic High School Students Racist Toward Native American Drummer

Two longer videos have come out that seem to vindicate the Catholic Boys High School kids in Washington DC. Shame on CNN, in particular, and their FAKE NEWS and the fake news of the other politically liberal and religion hating (if conservative) news outlets. SHAME.

Why did CNN make an international story out of this? Because it was a group of Catholic kids at the Washington, DC Right to Life March who were wearing MAGA hats and appeared, falsely to be victimizing Native Americans.

FAKE NEWS hates President Trump. It hates Christianity and its traditional sexual morality and it hates pro-life Christians. FAKE NEWS wants to marginalized, denigrate and neutralize anyone against their political agenda.

SHAME!

How much do you want to bet that the diocese that was quick to JUDGE and condem those boys will not apologize or speak another word on the subject.

Mercy mercy mercy mercy mercy.......where IS all the mercy and compassion that Francis is talking about non stop.

It seems to me that mercy and compassion is always shown to those who hate the Church and Her teachings. It is lavished on those who don’t ask for mercy or even care if they get it. But young Catholic men who took the time to do something to fight the evil of abortion are quickly judged and condemned.

Those young men have taught the Catholic Faith in a real concrete way. Where was the bishop and the priests at the chancery who condemned them?! Where they at the march in the cold marching and praying or where they in their comfy rectories with their feet up watching Golden Girl re-runs eating Pringles. Knowing priest like I do, my bet is on the Golden Girl re-runs.

I’ve seen those videos & they do not vindicate the kids. Keep in mind that the KY school & diocese apologized after talking to the adults on the trip — including at least one priest. Once again, they show that you will condone any evil or immorality in the name of Trump. Disgusting. Another reason people have less respect for the Church in 2020.

Daniel... this wasn't a Trump rally. It was a pro-life rally. How do you know that MAGA didn't mean "Make Abortion Gruesome Again?" And even if the boys were wearing MAGA hats, why is it okay for them to be called out by people that hate Trump? Why is hatred and anger directed at anyone okay?

"Fake News" is a fake claim.

When recordings are presented to establish the veracity of what Trump or his supporters have said, the sycophantic krewe ignores them or dismisses them as "misunderstood."

When Trump behaves like a petulant, spoiled brat, the sycophantic krewe lauds him for "not acting like a politician.

When Trump asserted his right as a celebrity to assault sexually a married woman, his sycophants rallied behind him, defending his "locker room talk."

When Trump has spoken like the petulant, spoiled bully that he is, calling leaders of other nations names like 4th grades do on the playground, his sycophants say he is "not acting like a politician."

When he practices openly and proudly adultery, his sycophants . . . remain silent.

When he lies - 6,420 times as of 18 November 2018 - his sycophants scream, "Fake News!"

"Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed." John 3:20

How did this turn into a commentary on Trump? Why does everything turn into a commentary on Trump?

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

These kids and the 11th grader in particular were victimized and international abused by CNN and other despicable fake news outlets for the dole intention to go after Trunp especially after Mueller named them Fske need on Friday for the fake news they promoted shamelessly about a leak from buzzfeed.

Kavanaugh,

Siding with the Abortion Party again. No one was more narcissistic, petulant, or vindictive than the clown who occupied the White House 8 years before Trump. You choose to ignore a myriad of facts because you were (are) having a slobbering love affair over this clown. You really need to find a new line of work - maybe vote harvesting for the Abortion Party in the next election because your Catholic bona fides are in tatters any way with the sentient amongst us.

"How did this turn into a commentary on Trump?"

Please note the hats the children are wearing.

Fr. McDonald, you were among those who perpetuated the "victimization" of these kids. Now you want to blame CNN. Sad.

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

Look again, my concern was about the absence of chaperones. But they were there. What is sad is that your political opinions justifies their abuse by CNN and others and your abuse is heaped on them by their MAGA hats. Yet you have no shame or retract your abusive attitudes towards these children or apologize to them.

I apologize to them and have printed this post. For the love of God you apologize to these victimized children for your part!

Knowing that the original video was not the whole story, I said nothing about the accusation that they were "mocking" Native Americans.

MAGA hats identify these children as Trump supporters, do they not? That makes them fair game for comments about that support. If they are Trump sycophants, they are open to criticism.

I heaped no abuse on them whatsoever.

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

There you go again, justifying child abuse because of the hat they were wearing. No one, child or adult deserves your abuse for political reasons. Please apologize and now for the love of God!

So what if the kids were wearing MAGA hats! They and their families are getting DEATH threats from idiots like you! But if they were pink tutus or bikinis and someone like me even looked at them funny, I'd be the one crucified by the media.

You and the media are the real facists.

This is black but it is white. In a way it is amusing to watch ideology disclosing the world to people, people seeing the world only through ideology. But it is serious, because we see the foundations being laid for civil war.

When you control the media and education, you control the minds of people and end up controlling the world as well. Orwell was shocked to see how successful that method was in the Soviet Union. It was also successful in the Western world until the Internet came along. But now there is risk of civil war developing as ideologies beget religious fervour.

By the way, I have not watched American TV news for close to 15 years.

I was interrupted and forgot to add that in the past few years and after some scandals the BBC is trying hard to be fair. I did not know the Sisters of Mercy have become involved:

"So what if the kids were wearing MAGA hats!"

MAGA hats identify these children as Trump supporters, do they not?

"They and their families are getting DEATH threats from idiots like you!"

Where is the outrage when...

"The man accused of making death threats against Boston Globe employees let his positive feelings for President Trump be known just moments after he was released on bail. “America was saved when Donald J. Trump was elected,” said Robert Darrell Chain as he was leaving court Thursday, according to a tweet by David Douglas of NBC News. Chain, 68, made his first court appearance in Los Angeles after being arrested at his home earlier in the day."

Or when...

"A pro-life Donald Trump supporter was arrested and charged in New York for threatening to "put a bullet" in a U.S. senator ... TMZ has learned.Brooklyn resident Michael Brogan was charged Wednesday with threatening to murder the unnamed senator. Prosecutors say the senator's staff alerted authorities earlier this month when they got a disturbing and threatening voice message. According to court docs, Brogan allegedly said in part, "You are an absolute piece of s**t, Senator. Senator, and I put that in quotation marks, you're a f**king phony. You watch your ass cause I [unintelligible], I'm going to put a bullet in ya."

What a sorry attemp at justifying your political abuse of this children. Stop it and apologize. No other comments of your stupid political crassness will be posted unless it is an unequivocal apology for your abuse of these children.

Dan said...

I guess you realize, that you are justifying threats of death and violence against anyone that might wear an article or symbol denoting a political affiliation-like a rainbow flag, or anarchy symbol, or Che hat, or whatever... or else you are a dumbass.

The Anonymous comments have the "scent" of Kavanaugh about them.

I am not justifying death threats against anyone. I am noting that death threats come in all shapes and sizes, not just from "people like me."

Given the way the Democratic Party has recently moved away from being a Big Tent that also embraces Democrats for Life and given the way the Republican Party has come to embrace an anti-abortion position, it is understandable that the pro-life movement, which in principle should transcend partisan politics, has been increasingly associated with the Republican Party and with Trump. Understandable but arguably mistaken:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/religion/2018/12/11/ben-shapiro-is-headlining-march-life-pro-lifer-i-think-thats-huge-mistake/?utm_term=.2022a968f980

Regarding the incident with the Catholic high school students, the story continues to evolve and everyone would do well to wait for a full accounting of the facts after the necessary investigations have taken place.

P.S. To be fair, CNN is trying (at least now) to present the many sides to the story. Has it ever been possible to say the same of the pro-Trump camp?

A2 CNN is a mouth piece for the Democrat party but pretends to be a news organization. FOX is certainly a mouth piece for the Republicans but is at least honest about it, more entertaining and enjoyable to watch compared to the clum, snarky, sanctimonious CNN counterpart.

Trump is a politician, not a news organization.

It is more than just being pro abortion and radical about anything sexual, it has become socialist and in a fascist way.

Father McDonald,

I was not referring to FOX News specifically but to Trump apologists more generally. Regarding FOX News, I make a great distinction between the News Division, which is quite good with real journalists, and the Opinion Division, which is perfectly dreadful (a distinction that, I suspect the News Division itself makes). Of course, CNN and MSNBC seem to be mostly opinion. Of all the U.S. TV news media, FOX News has my favorite U.S, journalist—Chris Wallace. This said, nowadays, I mostly watch BBC World News, where they have excellent journalists and a calm, British demeanor.

The kids were wearing Trump hats & chanting, “Build That Wall.” How is that a pro-life rally? One common theme among the MAGA crowd is their inability to take responsibility. Be it Trump or his congressional rumpswabs or Brett Kavanaugh or these smug entitled pinks: deny, deflect, shift the blame, make yourself the “real victim.” Most Americans don’t buy it, of course, but the dim-witted & gullible are always with us.

Father, you can turn on CNN at anytime & see conservatives spouting Trump’s line or even Trump himself ad nauseum. Watch Fox News and try to find both sides. That is why the weak-minded & biased find it so “enjoyable” — they know their prejudices will not be challenged by the facts. Marinate yourself in lies long enough & you don’t recognize the truth anymore.

Take a look at the Women's March in Washington, the attitudes and demeanors, the language and the signs and placards of the participants. Then take a look at the same of the participants in the Pro-Life March. Night(Women's march) and Day(Pro-Life). Debauchery vs. Decency. Profligacy vs.Propriety. And so on.

Why do they need to be wearing MAGA hats at a Right to Life rally? When did America stop being "great"? And who exactly defines whether or not it is great? Is the Right to Life March just another political rally?

This bit of fake news didn’t originally with CNN or MSM, it originated with the Big Left political machine. It is propaganda and it did abuse those students. It also put their lives at risk, I wonder if any government agency will investigate and prosecute?
