Savannah Cathedral's youthful (no one older than mid 20's) schola, one of the best in the world)) will Chant the Mass featuring Gregorian Chant and polyphony with the Dies Irae. The catafalque will be present and black vestments will be used.
This will be the first EF Mass in our new church! Yours truly celebrant!

Congratulations on bringing the traditional liturgy of the Church to your own parish church, and on such an auspicious liturgical occasion as a high Mass of All Souls with catafalque and accomplished cathedral schola.
Our perhaps less polished Mass of All Souls here will be chanted by the boys of the Knoxville Catholic High School schola (all well under 20), an enthusiastic crew who dub themselves the Magnanimous Manly Minstrels.
The Novus Ordo is also a traditional liturgy.

I hope having this special Mass at St. Anne's will bring a new awareness and appreciation for our Church's rich, liturgical tradition to your parishioners. I am starting to believe that the EF is indeed the wave of the future and the hurried reforms of the 1960s, an error of the greatest magnitude

The Novus Ordo is, according to the preamble of the GIRM, 'a witness to unbroken tradition'. This lengthy preamble was not in the 1969 IGMR (available in Latin for those who are interested) but was added after the 'Ottaviani intervention', much to the chagrin of Annibale Bugnini.
Whether this makes the NO 'traditional' is a moot point; it all depends on the meaning one wishes to attach to the word. It is of course a nonsense to refer to a vernacular Novus Ordo as 'the traditional English Mass' since traditionally the Mass was never in English; this much is an indisputable fact. Yet one priest commentator on this blog has used the expression, and with a large amount of linguistic tergiversation could even justify it, albeit unconvincingly.
My car is older than the novus ordo mass, the inventors of the novus mass would be appalled if it were called the traditional mass.
