It’s about a minute long and would be great for a daily Mass. I think if a priest or a deacon delivered this homily this coming Sunday and in the manner of this lay preacher, people in the pew would be blown away, not only with its content, but its brevity. Less is more! I believe that!

It was a very good, concise message.
Being able to deliver a strong message, briefly, is a skill. Not everyone will possess this skill even after being taught how.
Many priests and speakers are not orators. Just because they open their mouths, doesn't mean they have something to say. It's not necessarily their fault. Some are instinctively able to speak well the same as others are able to sing well. I've known priests who are masterful celebrants, but aren't strong homilists and they're quick to admit this. I've also known priests who are masterful homilists and bone-dry celebrants, it's mechanical and emotionless. Both at the same time is yet still more rare, however it is totally delightful when found.
