COMMONSENSICAL AND PRAGMATIC—THAT IS BISHOP MORLINO

I just watched Bishop Morlino’s interview on EWTN’s The World Over with Raymond Arroyo.

WOW!

I will post the interview as soon as it is available.

I think the good bishop should be asked by Arroyo to speak to the sin of gluttony.

Dr. Atkins,

That was a cheap shot.

There are a number of people who appear overweight for reasons unrelated to food consumption. We are relatively sure that St. Thomas Aquinas was fat. Look at the later photos of Padre Pio: He ate almost nothing but appeared to be rather chubby.

Can't we stick to the topic instead of looking for nonsense like this?

Dr. Atkins Kavanaugh,

Judgmental are we?

Dr. Atkins said...

Um, Bishop Morlino does not "appear" to be overweight.

I don't think a discussion of another of the Seven Deadly Sins is necessarily off topic inasmuch as we are already discussing pride and lust.

Dr. Atkins -

I'm always impressed by people who's focus on the matter at hand is so razor-sharp. Well done!

Mr. ByzRC -

I'm always unimpressed by people with tunnel vision. Poorly done!

Dr. Atkins -

(Very Slowly) Clap............Clap...........Clap at that "comeback".

ByzRC,

I assume you smell the scent of Eau de Kavanaugh aka the artful dodger

Dr. Atkins has clearly been feasting on intellectual Lean Cuisine...

One can't help but wonder how much pride is involved when blog trolls return again and again and again in pursuit of getting the last word.

Anonoymous, that sounds like MT and Kavanaugh

TJM,

I smell something, something like that tired, familiar narrow-minded traditionalist crap I've spent a lifetime listening to and being unimpressed by and, it stinks!

Bee here:

Per "Dr. Atkins" comment above: Ah, the classic ad hominem attack...if you can't counter what they say, attack their person....

What a brilliant tactic! Kudos!

God bless.
