“We have great need to recover the sense of mystery in liturgies that evoke a sense of wonder at how God’s majesty embraces our human frailty, a sense of the primacy of God, constant intercession, penance, fasting, and weeping for one’s own sins and for those of all humanity!”—Leo XIV, May 14, 2025

CHRISTMASTIDE AT SAINT ANNE'S, RICHMOND HILL, GEORGIA
Tastefully restrained. There is temptation to fill in space when decorating a Craftsman style room. It seems a little Unitarian except for the tabernacle and altar which proclaims it a Catholic Church. I like this a lot.
If the Roman altar evolved into this, I really think people would be at peace. Perhaps, conceptually, this could have been what was really intended with regard to noble simplicity. The only thing I would change is moving the tabernacle back to the altar.
It is amazing how in less than 10 minutes, you managed to transform this church and make it special. I'm sure the same could be accomplished in many places if there was a willingness to try.

The holy table almost looks Byzantine! I love it! Now, leave it that way!

Very beautiful. Simple, yet elegant.
God bless. Merry Christmas.
