Oh my, having one bishop is bad enough, but when I retire and move full time to Hilton Head, South Carolina, I will have two bishops, my true bishop, Bishop Stephen Parkes (red trim) the Bishop of Savannah, and newly ordained/consecrated Bishop of Charleston (blue trim) Jacques Fabre-Jeune. He is a native of Haiti. I will have entered the Twilight Zone. Bishop Fabre-Jeune became the Bishop of Charleston on Friday the 13th also the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. When I celebrate Mass in South Carolina, during the Eucharistic Prayer I will pray: For Francis, our pope, and Jacques our bishop, but when in the Diocese of Savannah, I will pray: For Francis our pope and Stephen our bishop.
