THIS POPE CONTINUES TO ANGER, BAFFLE AND ALIENATE CATHOLICS WITH HIS FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE

This disease seems to be exacerbated at high altitudes and has become traditional for this pope during off the cuff interviews in low oxygen jets which then overshadow his various pilgrimages.

He praises a pro abortion woman he appointed to the pontifical academy for life, nothing short of bizarre but said in a low oxygen place.

And then this about the Russians humanitarian record which the brave Archbishop of the Ukraine was able to rebuke the pope in person this very day after the remarks made under the influence of no oxygen: Good for the infusion of fresh oxygen this Archbishop gave to  the pope:

Ukrainian archbishop tells pope Russia wants to destroy, not negotiate

In regard to Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk "rebuke" of Pope Francis.

The news article reported that during their meeting, "Pope Francis reiterated the Holy See’s commitment to end the fighting and find a way to obtain “a just peace,” the archbishop’s office said."

The article reported that Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk thanked Pope Francis for the Holy Father's prayers and efforts “to stop the war and mediate peace, free hostages and prisoners and organize the universal solidarity of the Catholic Church on behalf of the suffering Ukrainian people,” the statement (from the Archbishop’s office) said.

Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk thanked Pope Francis for...

-- Pope Francis' prayers and efforts "to stop the war and mediate peace."

-- Pope Francis having worked to "free hostages and prisoners."

-- Pope Francis has organized "the universal solidarity of the Catholic Church on behalf of the suffering Ukrainian people."

Spiritually, and materially, Pope Francis has worked diligently to aid Ukrainians, as well forge a just peace to end the war in Ukraine.

Archbishop Sviatoslav Shevchuk has made that clear...and thanked Pope Francis for that.

Pax.

Politics and religion. Two things Holy Father has difficulty talking about. When the two issues are involved at the same time His Holiness says the most interesting things, well, like his comments about the war, or teaching the faith a la Pachamama.
