Just love this from two years ago. These parishioners from Saint Anne’s Parish in Richmond Hill, actually tonsured (shaved) their heads to appear as the soon to be martyred Franciscans on St. Catherine’s Island, a stone’s throw from Richmond Hill. They were martyred in the 1500’s. Their cause for sainthood is progressing in Rome.
