We are slaves to the liturgy, it is not ours, we simply submit ourselves and execute, precisely (though not robotically), that which is asked of us.
This kind of nonsense is completely contrary to the Roman Rite Mass and would have been unheard of in the pre-Vatican II Church with swift consequences for any priest doing something so silly. It just did not happen. Were some priests speeding through the Mass? Yes? Were some drunk or tipsy? Yes. But this kind of outrage, no! The problem with the modern Mass is that it is so easily manipulated by the priest because he thinks he is the star, with an acting position and on stage like a Broadway performer. It satisfies his appetite to act and produce a production all about him. Sad, indeed!

Rorate Caeli has a posted another horrific attack against the Holy Mass of Pope Saint Paul VI. The excerpts below are from a "mainstream" trad conference held about two weeks ago.
Once again, it is obvious, to a major extent, as to why the Summorum Pontificum liturgical peace plan had failed.
Far too many trads are not interested remotely in Pope Benedict XVI's call to work for the peaceful coexistence of the TLM, and Holy Mass of Pope Saint Paul VI.
Embedded deeply within "traditional" Catholicism is the destructive mentality to destroy the Holy Mass of Pope Saint Paul VI...to reject the peaceful coexistence of the two Masses in question...and the unrelenting, destructive, liturgical warmongering pipe dream that the TLM will return as the Western Church's primary Mass.
Pope Francis told the truth...more than a few trads weaponized Summorum Pontificum against the reformed Mass, as well as Vatican II.
Pope Benedict XVI had made it clear that it was unacceptable to have engaged in liturgical warmongering.

Of those that bother to go, only 30% believe in the Real Presence
