There is a canon law that bishops, who promise to uphold canon law, should, must and can follow! It isn’t a matter of “may” follow. This shows which cardinals and bishops think they are above canon law (it is called clericalism, by the way) and those who humbly put away their arrogance of clericalism and privilege to follow Christ and His Laws. And Jesus is the Doctor of the Law par excellence!

This got me thinking. I'd be willing to bet that Biden has never once received Communion on the tongue since the 1976 indult.
Why would a politician want to receive communion in a Church whose teachings he rejects? Why not convert to a denomination that agrees with him? Alternatively, if you believe the Catholic Church is the One True Church, why not state that you believe she is wrong on these points both in fact and in elevating them to this place in Canon Law? In the case of Vice President Biden this compartmentalization extends to his tolerance of the Ku Klux Klan. He did not support them himself but allied himself politically with members. We can’t choose our fellow citizens so is he correct to support a place for the Klan, abortionists, and sodomy since it is part of other people’s reality and acceptable in their values so they will vote with him on budget issues?
