And the date is a palindrome! 02-02-2020 is the same forwards and backwards. And it is a palindrome for all the different regions of the world, the ones that put the month first (mm,dd,yyyy), and the ones that put the year first (yyyy,mm,dd), although it's not the same palindrome as in the U.S.
They say it is the first such palindrome since November 11, 1111, 909 years ago. The next one will be 101 years from now, Dec. 21, 2121 but after that it will be another 909 years till the one after that (March 3, 3030), and 1,010 years for the one after that (April 4, 4040).
