Someone with a very good eye and real appreciation for the mid-century modern vernacular did a superb job here. The space didn't have to be transformed to a gothic or renaissance style decor in order to be very beautiful and very "Catholic."
It is a marked improvement. True crucifix, communion rail, and tabernacle in center. Looking forward to when they are completed. RCG: is "comfortable" the purpose?

They did a good job making it more comfortable than this sort of architecture usually is.
Replacing the original sanctuary floor with a much lighter one was genious. The communion rail really improves the over-all look
