St. Anthony of Padua, Gardena, CA.

Someone with a very good eye and real appreciation for the mid-century modern vernacular did a superb job here. The space didn't have to be transformed to a gothic or renaissance style decor in order to be very beautiful and very "Catholic."

They did a good job making it more comfortable than this sort of architecture usually is.

Replacing the original sanctuary floor with a much lighter one was genious. The communion rail really improves the over-all look

Where is an image of the Virgin?

It is a marked improvement. True crucifix, communion rail, and tabernacle in center.
Looking forward to when they are completed.
