Good thing you did that. Stay on top of it and make sure that Doctor gets baptized!

I hope you do not have much of a scar, but even if you did, it could not change your handsome face.

Thank you, I think the scar will add character, but I don't think I'll have much of one, although the doctor said my skin had no wrinkles, like a teenager's skin, but that makes it harder to hide the scar in one of the wrinkles! Oh well.

RCG, the doctor, Dr. David Kent is a Jew. Did you know that somehow?

You had mentioned he was alert to your melanoma during RCIA.

Please don't get started on how handsome Fr. McDonald is or he will be posting his picture even more than he does already. ;-)

Father, it will take a few months for your incision to heal completely after surgery, I know from experience. However, you may have to grow a moustache until then. That would be interesting!
Still, you have a wonderful face!

Scars are cool. Some have stories.

I knew a pastor that had been shot in the face and had a scar both on his cheek and the back of his neck where the bullet exited. He had happened on a car wreck and stopped to help. The driver had wrecked from loss of blood after a failed bank robbery. The pastor was shot when he looked into the car to see the man's condition. The police arrived shortly thereafter, saving the pastor.

Might I suggest you talk like a Pirate until the scar is completely healed?

"Arrrgggh ya' scallwag, this here be the Body of Christ, bend yer knee and give homage before I be runnin' ya' through matey."

Actually my top lip has been swollen since the surgery and I have no problem talking pirate!
