The first photo perhaps only required evolutionary refinement (introduction of the vernacular, no changes to the rubrics). The second photo was unnecessary, destructive and after some (of those who still attend) acclimate to not attending during this crisis, they may just forgo participation altogether. The third photo is, currently, unavoidable.
Wrote this in the last thread, but repeating here, because our Vicar General encouraged active participation to enhance our worship online:
We have “attended” Holy Mass every morning at 8 am online with a wonderful, reverent local priest. We begin by lighting a formerly-blessed candle and bless ourselves and our home “altar” with holy water. I bring up the readings from the USCCB website. We do NOT sit passively—we assist by standing, sitting, kneeling and making ALL appropriate responses and prayers. It is very active, and we have had a very positive emotional experience celebrating with our local priest. I thank God and this holy local Priest for making this possible! I know you are doing the same, FRAJM, despite the absence of parishioners in pews. May God bless all you are doing to build us and guide us toward heaven.
Again, most of the media mavens miss the point the seniors and many many many poorer Catholics lack home computers and high speed internet, MAYBE have a cell phone, and which phone plan will not support movies, live streaming, much of any video playing at all, and who are essentially telling a larger portion of Catholics, perhaps even a majority in the USA, "Then let them eat cake."
Totally out of touch with reality in a life of privilege and utterly disconnected from flocks.

The 2nd picture is all wrong. The women should not be veiled, and the folks in the pews should be wearing t-shirts and jeans or shorts.
Carol, yes you are correct.....But those pictures say it all....and accurately, unfortunately.
