THE CHURCH, MEANING SOME OF THE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH, NOT ALL, HAVE LOST THEIR WAY AND NO LONGER HAVE THE COMMON SENSE OF RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION!

Inclusivity ideology gone bonkers in some of the clergy and laity of the Church, has inoculated these Catholics against any sense, common sense really, of righteous indignation about over-the-top parodies that mock God, the Church, our religious and all that is holy. It promotes the satanic and evil as perfectly normal and acceptable.

Inclusivity in the Church is not a theology it is a worldly ideology and a mortal sin when sin is accepted as good and the mockery of God and Church embraced in the most inclusive way possible.

Tolerance in the Church is not a theology it is a worldly ideology and a mortal sin when sin is accepted as good and the mockery of God and Church is tolerated.

Why are so many Catholics so afraid of those who mock God and thus tolerate and include them to avoid the ire and hatred of those who are perverted? Whatever happened to the old virtue of correcting the sinner even to the point of exclusion to enable them to see the errors of their ways.

Inclusivity, tolerance and encouragement of sexual deviants in the Catholic Church hasn’t served us too well especially in the clergy of the Church.

Why are some religious leaders and their followers advocating for the mainstreaming of sexual deviancy? It’s beyond common sense to say the least.

A commentator at the Jesuit America Magazine thinks it is okay to mainstream this kind of crap and celebrate it at America’s pass time, baseball. So much for red-blooded Americans, baseball, hotdogs and apple pie!

This link might entail a paywall unfortunately, but the title says it all. Thank you Jesuits for all your corruption:

Drag queen ‘nuns’ will be included in LA Dodgers Pride Night. I have complicated feelings about it.
Last week, the Dodgers announced that they would honor what you might call “drag nuns” during their Pride Night on June 16, a common promotional event at many Major League ballparks during the month of June.

-- LA Archdiocese Blasts Dodgers for Renewing Pride Night Invite

=====================================================================================

STATEMENT FROM THE ARCHDIOCESE OF LOS ANGELES

"The Archdiocese calls on all Catholics and people of goodwill to stand against bigotry and hate in any form and to stand for respect for one another and for the religious beliefs of our communities of faith.

"The decision to honor a group that clearly mocks the Catholic faith and makes light of the sincere and holy vocations of our women religious who are an integral part of our Church is what has caused disappointment, concern, anger, and dismay from our Catholic community.

"The ministries and vocations of our religious women should be honored and celebrated through genuine acts of appreciation, reverence, and respect for their sacred vows, and for all the good works of our nuns and sisters in service of the mission of the Catholic Church.

"From providing a quality education for inner city students, to serving the sick, the homeless, the hungry and so many others in need, to caring for the souls of our faithful through prayer, our women religious have dedicated their lives to the Catholic faith and mission, sharing God’s loving grace with others.

"The Archdiocese stands against any actions that would disparage and diminish our Christian faith and those who dedicate their lives to Christ.

"The Archdiocese calls on all Catholics and people of goodwill to stand against bigotry and hate in any form and to stand for respect for one another and for the religious beliefs of our communities of faith.

"Let us also show our care and respect for our women religious by sending a message of support to their communities through phone calls, letters, and posts on their social channels, supporting vocations by donating to their orders, and/or making donations in their name to the programs they support.

"Let us show the world how much our women religious mean to us and our Church."

The Dodgers Promote Anti-Catholicism

https://www.nationalreview.com/2023/05/the-dodgers-promote-anti-catholicism/

Excerpts:

"The “Sisters” are “queer and trans” drag queens whose shtick is to dress up as Roman Catholic nuns and mock them and their faith in ways that range from the lewd to the sacrilegious.

"They go by various sexual and blasphemous stage names, all of them with the honorific “Sister” (e.g., “Sister Anal Receptive”).

"The group’s motto is “go and sin some more.”

"They annually host a “Foxy Mary and Hunky Jesus” contest on Easter Sunday.

"This year, that included a “Jesus and Mary–themed striptease” in which, per the San Francisco Chronicle, a pole dancer was “writhing upside down on a large wooden cross.”

====================================================================================

Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco accused the Dodgers administration of "worshiping" alternative "gods."

"Our Catholic sisters devote themselves to serving others selflessly. Decent people would not mock & blaspheme them.

"So we now know what gods the Dodger admin worships. Open desecration & anti-Catholicism is not disqualifying," said Cordileone.

"Disappointing but not surprising. Gird your loins."

Sam Brinton, formerly a member of the Biden cabinet freak show, was associated with this anti-Catholic hate group. Father K is proud!

But they are in variations of traditional Western garb. So the dilemma to support or condemn them must be agonizing.

In regard to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence/homosexual lobby:

The topic in question is related to Pope Francis' 2013 A.D. comments during his in-flight press conference as he returned from Brazil to Rome.

Pope Francis:

"But if a person, whether it be a lay person, a priest or a religious sister, commits a sin and then converts, the Lord forgives, and when the Lord forgives, the Lord forgets and this is very important for our lives.

"When we confess our sins and we truly say, “I have sinned in this”, the Lord forgets, and so we have no right not to forget, because otherwise we would run the risk of the Lord not forgetting our sins."

"So much is written about the gay lobby.

"I believe that when you are dealing with such a person, you must distinguish between the fact of a person being gay and the fact of someone forming a lobby, because not all lobbies are good.

"This one is not good.

"If someone is gay and is searching for the Lord and has good will, then who am I to judge him?

"The problem is not having this tendency, no, we must be brothers and sisters to one another, and there is this one and there is that one.

"The problem is in making a lobby of this tendency...For me, this is the greater problem."

The Los Angeles Times three days ago published the following very different Letters to the Editor:

"To the editor: I am a Catholic Sister of the Holy Names — popularly referred to as a “nun.”

"As a Dodger fan since the team moved to Los Angeles, I have been to countless games and regularly watch the team win and lose on TV. I miss Vin Scully (may he rest in peace).

"The group CatholicVote does not speak for me or many of my sisters.

"Aging and no longer in active ministry, I was pleased to read the mission statement of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

"They are performing what we have traditionally called the corporal works of mercy. Those who feed the hungry, visit the sick and elderly and care for people with AIDS should be honored for the ways they minister to people.

"The Dodgers should not give in to pressure from anti-inclusion groups, which serve only to divide rather than unite our society."

Jo’Ann De Quattro, Monrovia

====================================================================================

"To the editor: There are not right-wing Catholics or left-wing Catholics. One cannot be Catholic “in his/her own way.” In a world of passing fads and transitory ambitions, the wisdom of the Gospel will heal this world full of violence and hate against human life.

"The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is a fringe group that often parodies sacred Catholic rites in a very offensive manner.

"As a gay Catholic man, I do not agree with the group’s disrespectful and hurtful humor.

"The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are not new to me. Though I find their actions gross, in the interest of free speech I believe they have a right to exist — and I have the right to repudiate them. And that does not make me right-wing or anything.

"We are to believe that Dodger fans are very upset because the Sisters were pulled from Pride Night. I doubt that, especially for Latino fans who love their Virgen de Guadalupe."

Just imagine what would happen; just imagine the reaction, if what was very holy to good Muslim people was, in similar ways, so evily mocked !!!

Bishops and priests are delusional if they believe young, gay men will remain celibate.

Paul said...

These pathetic cowardly deviants would NEVER dare mock Islam and Muslims (or even probably Judaism or Buddhism etc ) as they do the Catholic Faith and Catholic people.

And how this sick sacraligous
evil can now be acceptable to a lot of average mainstream people and many mainstream organisations and institutions etc just so clearly indicates how depraved and sick mainstream society in the West has become, especially in the last decade!

At yesterday's White House press briefing, a reporter posed the following to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQ8xjWRNpEo

At the :57 mark:

Question: "And a separate story here, and this is one that’s really caught the eye of a lot of Catholics and Christians, and it’s — and, frankly, they’re — they’re hurt by this.

"The L.A. Dodgers are honoring a group called the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” during a Pride Night game next month. The Archdiocese of L.A., Catholic leaders there say the group mocks the Catholic faith and women religious who serve the poor and sick and is asking all Catholics to stand against bigotry and hate in any form.

"The President is Catholic, we all know. What is his reaction to this story, please?"

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: "Look, I appreciate the question, Owen. I’m just not going to get into the middle of — of who a sports team is going to honor or should honor or should not honor. That’s just not something that I’m going to get in the middle of."

Question: "The President has made it — you know, it’s very important to him, religious freedom. He’s issued statements on it in the past saying all people of all religions should be treated with equal dignity and respect. I know — I know you — you know, you said — you just said there you kind of want to stay out of it, but isn’t this a prime example of something like that?"

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: "I’m just not going to get in the middle of who a sports team decides to honor or not honor. That is not — just not going to get in the middle of that. But appreciate the question."

From National Catholic Reporter:

https://www.ncronline.org/news/amid-perpetual-indulgence-dodgers-furor-lets-talk-about-real-catholic-sisters

Excerpts:

BY GAIL DEGEORGE

"I couldn't believe what I was reading. On the same May 18 Google alert with a story about Catholic nuns in Japan and South Korea deciding to help foster and develop a "culture of listening, dialogue, discernment, care, and peace" in both nations, were several stories about the Los Angeles Dodgers dropping plans to honor the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence."

"I could feel the outrage starting to burn within as yet another group that denigrates Catholic sisters stepped into the media spotlight.

"I'm not going to waste my time or yours repeating the disgusting things that were recounted in the article as their "acts," nor, contrary to our usual practice, are we linking to the group's website.

"The Dodgers bowed to pressure from LA Pride and the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, which said they supported the group and wouldn't attend Pride Night because of the decision.

"Silent amid all the controversy are, of course, real Catholic sisters. Characteristically, they have stayed out of the fray.

"Yet I'm baffled and dismayed as to why it is somehow OK to so grossly insult and parody women who do so much good in the world. "I don't presume to speak for Catholic sisters, but after more than seven years as editor of Global Sisters Report, I've had enough.

"It's bad enough when "the media" portrays women religious as somehow infantile, or in keeping with stereotypes and tropes from movies, as dimwitted, or featuring a sly, conniving mother superior.

"But the decision by a major league baseball team to honor an organization that since 1979 has based its existence, its very identity and so-called "acts" on disparaging women who dedicate their lives to serving others, has gone too far.

"Moreover, Catholic women religious do more to assist those in marginalized communities than many realize. They do so quietly, and without denigrating others in the process.

"Week after week, Global Sisters Report reflects the varied and creative ministries of Catholic sisters. On May 19, as just one example, our homepage carried articles about sisters in India working to help women who are caught in the life of being devadasis, or temple dancers; about Vietnamese sisters supporting people with mental illness; of sisters in Rwanda providing affordable treatment for children with hydrocephalus...

"They probably haven't heard of the hundreds, no, thousands, of Catholic women religious who minister to those with HIV/AIDS in countries around the world.

"Or about the Catholic sisters who have paid with their very lives honored in our "Women of Faith: Honoring Catholic Sisters Killed in Service in Africa" memorial pages.

"I also found myself wondering where the women's organizations were in decrying how these Catholic sisters were being insulted and parodied?

"Why was it only Catholic groups denouncing this?

"I'd like to invite the so-called "Sisters" of the San Francisco drag group to consider a few suggestions: Drop the disgusting parody — it's beneath you, and after 40 years, the time for such has passed, if there ever was one.

"Moreover, there are plenty of ministries that Catholic sisters have in the greater Los Angeles and southern California region that both the Dodgers and the members of the drag queen community could support.

"I eagerly await the day when real Catholic sisters will be honored by the Dodgers or other major league baseball teams for the good work they do."

There is a reason that the Church is utterly impotent to fight back at this degrading outrage. You can thank the following people:

Cardinal Law
Cardinal Bernardin
Cardinal McCarrick
Father Paul Shanley
Father John Geoghan
Bishop Daniel Ryan
Archbishop Rembert Weakland
"Cardinal" McElroy
Cardinal Mahoney
Cardinal Gregory

and a host of others who had or have no business wearing the Roman Collar.

These guys either advocated for homosexuality, protected pervert priests, practiced it, or took the path of perversion to its more outrageous destinations. But they have done oh, so much more. They have destroyed the moral credibility of the Catholic Church.

The result? The average Novus Ordo Catholic either agrees with the whole LGBTQ agenda or just doesn't care.

They created the problem. They made us tolerant of it. Now we get to live with it. Gee, "fathers"--thanks a lot.

I would say more, but my blood pressure is already rising too rapidly.

Shocked that the National Anti-Catholic Reporter did not side with the Dodgers

rcg said...

The management of the Dodgers, Target, Budweiser, etc. are not surprised. They are either supporting this with full knowledge of what it is or are being forced into it. The President’s Press Secretary answered a question about this by saying the President didn’t tell baseball teams what to host for entertainment. This is pure dissembling since they weren’t asked to dictate the matter but to address the hatred expressed towards a safe to hate group. I think that many, perhaps a majority, of political, business, and religious leaders have been compromised and documented participating in sex related activities that they are supporting these initiatives out of fear, shame, and the promise of future financial and political support.

Paul said...

It is disturbing to reflect on the possibility that many active members of the LGBT "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" may be less culpable in the eyes of God than their the key enablers of their activities and agenda - namely many Western politicians, educators, billionaire businessmen and even largish numbers of leading western Modern Churchmen in both the Catholic Church and any one of the main Protestant denominations!
