MORE EVIDENCE OF THE RIGID BACKWARDISM OF POPE FRANCIS AND SYNODALITY AS HE ORGANIZES IT…WOW

We would expect the National Catholic Reporter, a “c”atholic new source for aging baby-boomers who think the world has always revolved around its fads and shams, the “me generation” would publish a news article by a fairly young reporter who is clueless that he is playing into the backwardism and nostalgia we baby-boomers have for our radical, drug induced highs of the 1960’s.

You can’t make this stuff up and the NCR doesn’t. It tells it like it is and I mean it is really groovy and day by day we will make a place for the I’m okay; you’re okay” church of kumbaya as we all hold hands and smoke the sacrament of LSD and weed:

Hope for change endures decades after Vatican II and Detroit's '69 synod

We had change and it drove millions away. Einstein’s definition of insanity applies to this crowd in spades

Father McDonald,

I never realized how truly "creative" Biden is when lying. Can you really imagine he had this conversation with his father back in the late 1950s? He said this in a TV interviw with a fellow lefty. LOL

"He [Biden] was a high school senior being dropped off at school when he saw two men in suits kiss each other. "And I’ll never forget it, I turned and looked at my dad and he said ‘Joey, it’s simple. They love each other.’ It’s simple. No, I’m not joking. It’s simple, they love each other. And it’s never been, it’s never been, it’s just that simple, it doesn’t matter whether it’s same-sex or a heterosexual couple, you should be able to be married. So what is the problem?"

Of course the interviewer, who should know better, never pushed backed. I don't want to hear another damn thing from the Left about Republican "lies!"

In regard to the Columbus Dispatch's editorial cartoon:

"The New POPEMOBILE."

Peace, love, and the Cross. That is Catholicism 101.

I am thankful to belong to the Religion that has, for 2,000 years, stood for the above.

I am thankful that our holy, and great, Pope Francis, stands for peace, love, and The Holy Cross.

I am thankful that God's holy priests, Fathers McDonald (blog owner), as well as Kavanaugh, who post here regularly, preach, in communion with Pope Francis, peace, love, and the Cross.

The world needs more of that kind of "groovy."

:-)

Pax.

Mark Thomas.

Pope Benedict XVI, Encyclical Deus Caritas Est, #10:

"God’s passionate love for his people — for humanity — is at the same time a forgiving love. It is so great that it turns God against himself, his love against his justice."

Mark Thomas,

So you are thankful for a Pope who has declared war on faithful Catholics who love the TLM?

If you are thankful for Father McDonald you could show it by apologizing for lying about his statement or are you too corrupt to do so?

From The Pillar - Catholic News and Analysis:

“Francis, Germany and the ‘schism card’ JD Flynn - 15 March 2023,

The deputy chairman of the German bishops’ conference on Thursday invited Catholics in his diocese to contact parishes for liturgical blessings of their same-sex partnerships and other relationships regarded as morally illicit in the Catholic Church…..

Some Catholics have asked whether Bishop Bode’s announcement is formally an act of schism, a canonical crime which carries the penalty of excommunication……

….as long as the Vatican does not intervene over Bode’s action, the German bishops are claiming a kind of victory by omission - arguing that liturgical blessings have already become status quo, and suggesting that Rome should rescind its earlier prohibitions against them…

…Bishop Batzing, president of the German bishops’ conference, told a journalist this week that: ‘the practice of these blessings exist and we want to bring it to light. Whatever is good between two people can receive God’s blessing. That is only logical’.

These German bishops are not the only ones waiting to see if the pope will blink.

With Bishop Bode and others making headlines, Catholics around the world are tuning in, with some wondering if the pope will take a dare to defend the Vatican’s own instruction on the doctrine of the Catholic faith. The German bishops are betting he won’t…”

Paul,

If the Pope does not, then some brave cardinal needs to declare the Pope a heretic and move for his deposition

Could the situation soon exist in Germany or Belgium where an individual priest is in trouble with his bishop for refusing to bless a same sex relationship?

Paul,

Could happen. The once great Catholic Universal Church is no more
