The Vatican is no longer the center of power in the Church. They can be as unhappy as they like but they don’t pick the pope.
Pope Francis will go down in history as the Pope who broke the universal church. I am beyond sad and despondent and when I spoke with my Pastor about it he shared that he was equally so. He told me that everyone is scared, from the parish priest on up, to say anything.
