It is a matter of interpretation, of course, since no one knows, but I choose to believe my personal truth that Pope Francis' personal meeting with Cardinal Cupich was a smacked down of the Cardinal for his indelicate tweets concerning the USCCB's president, Archbishop Gomez correct and right-on statements concerning President Biden's rejection of the Magisterium of Vatican II of which no concessions can be made, that of abortion and infanticide, gender ideology, marriage and other moral issues.
But here is the good news that confirms Archbishop Gomez's prophtetic words and the Holy Father applauding him for showing no concessions to a Catholic President who goes his own way on these moral issues that are a part of Vatican II's Magisterium:

I read to my horror that Cupich may be considered to head the Congregation of Bishops.
I read that, too. Maybe Papa Francesco had to tell Cupich the job WAS his until his twitterness put him out of the running, and now he would need wait for Papa to invent a new position for him.

I should not be suprised if it Gomez not inďirectly smacked down in the incoming video, with a nice long typical "rigid blah blah pharisee blah blah see my footnotes quoting only self blah blah accompanying blah blah fringes blah blah synodal if it agrees with me and heresy if it doesn't etc etc etc".
True, the priest shouldn't deliver a homily that is directed at one single individual in a pew.
Does anybody here realize what an apostasyfest the Los Angeles "Religious Education Congress" really is?
