THE NCR REPORTS THAT THE NUNS AT A TRUMP RALLY, IN TRADITIONAL HABIT, AIN’T NUNS—BUT ARE THEY BEING UNECUMENICAL?

It turns out these nuns are not in full communion with the Catholic Church. But the NCR says they are not nuns. Is that fair? In Augusta there is a full convent of Episcopalian nuns at the Convent of Saint Helena. Are they not nuns? There are nuns of the Orthodox Church, are they not nuns?

Come on NCR, can’t you be more ecumenical. Don’t forsake Vatican II for your ideologies! There will be no concessions for you as Pope Francis recently pointed out. Vatican II is the Magisterium of the Church:

For the record: Michigan nuns at Trump rally aren't really nuns

I guess NCR prefers pantsuit nuns who agree that murdering the unborn is dandy because of a woman’s “right to choose!”

As soon as habited nuns were spotted, especially supporting the enemy of all things flaky, it was inevitable that there would be an investigation to find out just WHO these nuns were.

No surprise here. Discredit, nitpick, never let up. After the horse is dead, keep on beating it.

Those "nuns" were on the dead horse's side to begin with.

In their chapel they display the Vatican flag that is used during "sede vacante." In other words they are sede vacantists who deny the authority of Pope Francis, thus placing themselves in schism per Canon 751.

Despite this they are still nuns just not Roman Catholic.
