I prefer this to those stadium masses / field masses. I think it gets to a size that's beyond what's controllable and arguably is no longer a congregation. I skimmed through this and thought it pleasant in about every way. I hope the people found it to be a grace-filled experience.
The most impressive Church in Quebec was turned into a secular concert hall following Vatican II. Another triumph! I was there so don’t bother to try and put it “in context!”
