O THE AGONY OF A NAME CHANGE ON THIN SKIN

This ruins it for me! Every year since I have been teaching the RCIA and that’s forever, I have started my first class with RCIA written in big words on our blackboard, or was it white?

Then, I methodically went through each letter to explain to the class of nervous inquirers what the acronym means:

ROMAN CATHOLICS IN AGONY!

I will no longer be able to do this. This is sad, oh so sad!

But there is hope, maybe I can say the new acronym means:

Outrageous Catholics in Agony.

What other words with this acronym could we use? Odd minds want to know!
