The substance of every valid Mass/Divine Liturgy in the East or West is the saving action of the Risen Lord for the Church Militant and Suffering and the graces provided for both personal and communal Faith and Good Works necessary for salvation in the crucified and Risen Lord Jesus Christ.
When the manner of sociological and horizontal aspects of the liturgy become a false god replacing the high theology of the vertical aspect of God’s incarnational intervention in the Liturgy and our response to God, Houston, we have a problem and those promoting such damn well should feel insecure.
