They killed him off!!! My sister sent me this photo of a sterling silver Mr. Peanut spoon or peanut butter spreader that the three of us, my brother, sister and me, sent a proof of purchase of Planters Peanuts and $3! This was in Atlanta, late 1950’s. My sister has custody of this collector’s item! I remember the day it came in the mail.
