GIVEN THE DEMONIC ACTIONS OF THE WAR MONGERING DICTATOR OF RUSSIA, IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK POPE FRANCIS TO DO AND WHAT IS THE PROBLEM IN DOING IT ANYWAY?

Press title for the article:

Father McDonald,

Is there any reason why this has not already occured?

Russia has already spread her errors around the world to include the CCP our greatest exostential threat. The consecration has never been done as Our Lady has requested.

And don’t forget that Sister Lucia said USA would become communist and she was right there.

We’re all being played again like we were with the Covid scam by our Global Masters. Something doesn’t smell right and we all know that Klaus Schwab believes 500 million or a billion will be enough people to sustain their transhumanist global distopia.

The Vatican says it was done by Pope John Paul II in 1984. But Fatima loyalists say it wasn't done properly, which seems to me to be nitpicking. Then in 2013 I, by the grace of God, was on sabbatical in Rome, when Pope Francis had an open air Mass at which I distributed Holy Communion (about 100,000 filled the square) and the Fatima statue was present, processed in with the pope and he consecrated the world to Our Lady of Fatima.
You would think this would suffice, but still there are the naysayers. So I hope Pope Francis does it by the book and forgets about offending Russia which was a part of Christendom at one point and the Church of the East even before the Great Schism. Thus apart from atheistic communism it is a Christian nation.

I heard there was something done a few years back but may not have been properly done. This raises the question that if Fatima has the stature that is claimed why would a questionable event be allowed?

Thank you Father McDonald for your explanation. I am not sure why Fatima loyalists would say it was not done properly, since John Paul II was a fierce foe of Communism unlike the current pontiff

Perhaps it would help to have a naysayer explain:

1) Our Lady's words were specific: She asked that RUSSIA (not "the world") be consecrated to her. When you baptize someone, you call that person by name--you don't shake water around the Church and say, "I baptize all of you people in the name of..." Maybe not a great analogy, but there it is.

2) Sister Lucia herself SAID that it was not done properly and specified that it had to be RUSSIA.

3) JPII did NOT consecrate in union with all the world's bishops, as instructed.

4) Soul Magazine published an article allegedly interviewing Sister Lucia in which she says the consecration was accepted. The Blue Army stands by this story. However, people close to sister Lucia claim that she told them that she NEVER said any such thing, but could not go public with any correction, because THE VATICAN FORBADE HER FROM MAKING ANY PUBLIC STATEMENTS.

5) Fr. Gabriel Amorth was right by Pope JPII when he did this consecration and insists that he wanted to mention Russia, but was sternly warned not to by his handlers.

6) THIS WAS 1982--DON'T YOU THINK THAT IF IT HAD WORKED THAT RUSSIA WOULD BE CONVERTED BY NOW? If you think Russia HAS converted, think again. They have some of the highest rates of alcoholism, abortion, smoking and suicide in the world. While many religions are TOLERATED, the predominate religion is the corrupted Russian Orthodox Church. Most Catholics think a conversion would mean a conversion to full union with Rome. But if you ARE a Roman Catholic in Russia--good luck. Russia is the largest country in the world and there are only THREE Catholic dioceses. Less than .1% of the population is Catholic, and most of them live in Siberia. If you are a Catholic priest, you cannot get a visitor's visa for longer than 6 months and it is not renewable. They still don't like Catholics in Russia.

CONSECRATED? I don't think so.

Thomas Garrett,

Thank you for your perspective

Here's a link to a video of Fr. Amorth discussing Fatima and the lacking consecration.

OK, now I remember. So was there ever an explanation of why Pope JPII did it halfassed and why ‘all the politicians’ were cheering against it?

I am old enough to remember the Leonine prayers after Low Mass being said 'for the conversion of Russia'.

Whether this meant Russia's conversion from atheistic Bolshevism, or her conversion from Eastern Orthodoxy was never explained to me at the time.

I regard myself as a traditional Catholic but have serious misgivings about the whole Fatima thing. The same goes for Lourdes, Medjugorgje and the 'divine mercy' cult associated with Sr Faustina Kowalska, who seems to me to have been seriously deranged.
