Pope Francis doesn’t watch television or do social media from what we are told. Thus, one has to wonder who feeds His Holiness the news about the world and the Church and what lens or filters are used by those who advise the pope or fill in His Holiness?
While the pope will eventually come around to the right side of things, it takes a while for His Holiness to do so as His Holiness is quite set in his ways and convinced of his position, a kind of rigidity, no?
Think about the Bishop he appointed in Chile. There was an outcry in Chile about him and semi-violent protests in the cathedral where he was installed. The pope defended this man until someone and I think it was Cardinal O’Malley got to the pope with the truth about this man. But it had to take a papal trip to Chile where a South American pope was poorly received, small crowds and stunningly so attended his Masses and other gatherings and violent protests throughout the country. Finally the pope relented in his rigid support of that bishop and other bishops in Chile and took action.
What about Cardinal McCarrick and what about Bishop Zanchetta? Zanchetta was just found guilty of sexual abuse of seminarians during his time as a bishop in Argentina. He is the first priest that Pope Francis appointed as a bishop, a good friend of his and after psychiatric treatment, once being removed as the bishop in Argentina, given a cushy job at the Vatican and a residence in the same Vatican Motel where Pope Francis lives. You can’t make this stuff up. And what Pope Francis did for his buddy, bishops throughout the Church did for their priests in similar situations. That’s why we are in this endless scandal and they still don’t get it.

Indeed it is! There is a rigidity in His Holiness’ mentality about that which annoys him or sides he has chosen until he has to break that rigidity to save face. the manner in which His Holiness has reversed the papacies of John Paul II and Benedict XVI, especially the suppression of Summorum Pontificum, is the most egregious example of clericalism and authoritarianism. And it is from the pre-Vatican II playbook of those very same Catholics after Vatican II imposing Vatican II on people in the most pre-Vatican II, authoritarian and clerical way. It’s the same crowd today! Unbelievable!

While it certainly is commendable that you are able to keep finding excuses for the deplorable appointments made by pope Bergoglio, sooner or later you are going to run out and we are all going to have to stare the ugly reality of this "pontificate" in the face: Something is SERIOUSLY wrong with this pontificate and it is not just an accident or a "misinformed decision" made here and there. IT IS DELIBERATE. If you look at the appointments made by Bergoglio, he has stacked the college of Cardinals and promoted priests from around the world who are either homosexuals, homosexual apologists or have VERY questionable backgrounds.
Right after being elected pope, he made sure that Cardinal Daneels of Belgium, who approved a catechism in his own country that informed CHILDREN to seek whatever sexual pleasure that they like. This is the same Daneels who favored recognizing homosexual relationships in some fashion by the Church making them lawful...the same Daneels who WE KNOW COVERED UP SEXUAL ABUSE OF MINORS in Belgium...caught advising the relative(and victim) of a priest NOT to report him for sexual abuse. Great company Francis.
As early as 2013, Bergoglio forgot he was pope and dismissed any question of homosexual clergy with "who am I to judge?" (YOU'RE THE POPE, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!)
Msgr. Battista Ricca of Uraguay, KNOWN for being caught in an elevator with a male prostitute, and involved in other homosexual acts while working for the nunciature in that country, GETS PROMOTED to bishop AND IS NOW RUNNING THE VATICAN BANK.
The pope has said that the Church is "too focused" on preaching about abortion, gay people and contraception and needs to get more focused on mercy. When was the last time you heard your parish priest preach an ANY of those subjects? I get the feeling, he wants those sins erased from a bowlerized catechism.
In 2014 in one of his "from memory: interviews with Scalfari (always complete with plausible deniability) Francis is quoted as saying at least 2 percent of the priests (including bishops and cardinals) were PEDOPHILES and that (revealed in a later story by Scalfari) HELL DOES NOT EXIST.
At the October 2014 Synod, the midterm Relatio read, "We have to emphasize what is good about gay relationships."

Cardinal Coccopalmerio, another curial cardinal publicly stated that "Catholie leaders MUST emphasize the POSITIVE ELEMENTS IN HOMOSEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS and that, in certain circumstances, it would be wrong to deny Communion to persons living in adulterous relationships or to require them to dissolve their relationships." Any words of rebuke Pope Francis? Still waiting.
IN 2014, as bishop of Bruges, Belgium Jozef de Kesel appoints Fr. Tom Flamez as pastor after the priest had been CONVICTED sexual abuse. In 2015, Francis promotes him to Arcbihsop of Brussels and in 2016 PROMOTES HIM TO CARDINAL.

In 2013, Fr. Anthony Radcliffe states that "homosexual activity can be expressive of Christ's 'self-gift'" (barf bags please). In may 2015, Francis appoints him as "Consulter" to the Pontifical Council of Justice and Peace (your collection dollars at work).
Italian Senator Emma Bonino, a known abortionist, who has boasted of performing the procedure many times herself and advocate for abortion is welcomed in 2015 by Francis in the Vatican and in 2016 Pope Francis PUBLICLY PRAISED HER, calling her "One of Italy's forgotten greats."
Amoris Laetitia paragraph 301: "It can no longer simply be said that all those in any irregular situation are living in a state of mortal sin are are deprived of sanctifying grace." Now we have a pope who presumes the authority TO CHANGE NATURAL, MORAL LAW. He is re-defining mortal sin. Guardian of Tradition? You decide.
In 2016 Francis dismisses ALL 132 MEMBERS of the Pontifical Academy for Life. However he didn't shut the institution down--no, not our Francis! Instead HE REMOVED THE REQUIREMENT THAT ALL MEMBERS SWEAR TO UPHOLD THE CATHOLIC CHURCH'S TEACHINGS ON HUMAN LIFE AND NOT PERFORM DESTRUCTIVE EMBRYONIC RESEARCH, ELECTIVE ABORTIONS OR EUTHANASIA. ( I guess that means such "research" is now OK? ). He then stacked the academy with his own "new" experts, 45 new members, many of whom have publicly and openly REJECTED THE CATHOLIC CHURCH'S TEACHINGS on these issues, including Fr. (Yes, "FATHER") Maurizio Chiodi, who argues for euthanasia by denying the victims food and water and rejects the Church's teachings on contraception, Father Alain Thomasset SJ (big surprise there) who has rejected the idea that there can be any intrinsically evil actions, and stated that some homosexual relationships "can be a path of holiness", Father Humberto Yanez, who insists that articifical birth control can be "licit under some circumstances", Mary Jo Thiel, who denounces any notion that contraception is morally unacceptable and also rejects the Church's teachings that homosexual acts are wrong and Professor Nigel Biggar, who has stated that up to 18 weeks into pregnancy, abortion can be licit and that there can be a moral justification for some cases of euthansia.
Pontifical Academy of Human Life. Yeah.
This is like appointing Heinrich Himmler to the board of B'nai B'rith.
PART THREE
After founding the educational foundation "Scholas Occurentes", Pope Francis awards medals for "peace" on its behalf to George Clooney, Salma Hayek and Richard Gere, three "beautiful people"=type celebrities, ALL OF WHOM HAVE DENOUNCED THE MORAL POSITIONS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
And Zanchetta? It was known that he engaged in perverse sexual activities and PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE was submitted to the Holy See in 2015 and in 2017 Francis promotes him Assessor of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See.
Homosexuality.
Advocacy Against Church Teaching.
Honors.
Access to Money.
They all go together and the glue that binds them is the Sankt Gallen pope.
This isn't an "accident" or a case of "misinformed decisions" by Bergoglio.
Peron formed him. Martini groomed him. Martini's boys elected him.
He was elected for a purpose and he is fulfilling that purpose.
Stop making excuses and stop denying the obvious. We are being punished by God by the worst pontificate in history. There will be a price to pay for this sick, perverse inversion of the Church.
Wake up. Stop denying. Stop making excuses for Bergoglio. He's smarter than we think and he isn't giving an inch.
