COULD THIS MAN BE THE NEXT POPE, A PERFECT BLEND OF JOHN PAUL II, BENEDICT AND FRANCIS?

Konrad Cardinal Krajewski once worked closely with now Bishop Guido Marini when he was an assistant Master of Ceremonies for Pope Benedict XVI. He seem to appreciate the ethos of Pope Benedict’s papacy and certainly Cardinal Krajewski was extremely close to Pope Saint John Paul II.

But His Eminence is well rounded and has a very strong pastoral side favored by Pope Francis, so much so that Francis elevated him to an archbishop and cardinal.

Cardinal Krajewski has a heart for the poor and meeting them where they are and now is in the battleground that is Ukraine offering physical comfort and spiritual medicine to these suffering people.

I think he is also a no nonsense sort of person in the likeness of Pope Saint John Paul II and Benedict. And I suspect he would bring the papacy and the church both in terms of clarity of orthodoxy and beauty of liturgy to include the older books more in line with John Paul II and Benedict but also with Francis common touch for the poor, his pastoral theology but devoid of Francis’ confusion, duplicity and incoherence.

Keep in mind, too, that the good Cardinal complained bitterly to the pope that churches were closed in Rome during the pandemic and he complained about the crackdown on private Masses in St. Peter’s Basilica which I presume included the elimination of the EF Mass there on a free basis.

I vote for Cardinal Krajewski to be the next pope!

He's at number 9 in the following list of papabile (with Guido Marini at number 6!):

That appears to be a very old list and for Marini to be mentioned makes it suspect. They thought he would go to Genoa and he went to a much smaller place. I think Krajewski's trip to the Ukraine is very significant for him and his chances and the Church may well one a strong pope like John Paul II to stand up to Russia at this juncture in time.
