THE 6TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEDICATION OF SAINT ANNE'S NEW CHURCH, FEBRUARY 6, 2016

Today at Saint Anne's we celebrated the 6th anniversary of the dedication of our new Church. It seats about 1,000 anticipating the future growth of the already booming Richmond Hill community, the fastest growing county (Bryan) in the state of Georgia over the last ten years.

I was named pastor some six months later, June 22, 2016. Bishop, now Archbishop Hartmayer, was wrong. The one who holds the keys to the building must pay off the debt as he gave those keys to Fr. Joseph Smith, the then pastor, but in reality, those keys were passed on from him to me! UGH!!!!!

From Saint Anne's Facebook page for this Sunday morning (2/6/22):

Six years ago on this very day, Saint Anne's new church was dedicated (February 6, 2016) Congratulations to the then pastor, Father Joseph Smith and everyone who made that day possible and continue to support with their sacrificial giving the elimination of our debt ($32,000 a month!) which, unless a parishioner wins the lottery and pays off the little less than $5 million we still owe, we have 12 more years to pay. The total amount of the new church was over $11 million, so a huge dent has been made in that total amount, but we need to totally wreck that debt!

This is a three and a half minutes synopsis of the Liturgy of that day:
