LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION!

If our pope does not wish to preserve the doctrines of the Catholic Church, or to win converts to the Catholic Church, or to promote the traditional worship forms of the Catholic Church, or to call all sinners to full repentance and reconciliation, then what is it exactly that he hopes to accomplish?

I am a born adulterer so I cannot practise the virtue of continence in sexual matters. Not fulfilling my sexual desires causes me undue pain and suffering.
Because I have no choice in avoiding sexual sins, I am looking for a priest to in all mercy justify my conscience and who will give me the OK to go to a singles club on weekends, and not tell my wife...

Victor, ask Kavanaugh!! He will "accompany" you!

How refreshing to hear clarity! Enough is enough with the evil coming from Rome. Yes evil. And once again who is silent and letting error and confusion spread. And Mark Thomas before you start just shut up. Yes I said it and it’s long overdo. Shut up with your defense of error and sin. Adultery is always and at all times a mortal sin. Period end of discussion. The pope stated in AL that there are times when people cannot live the commandments, that’s heresy. Francis needs to teach Catholic doctrine or be deposed as a heretic. College of cardinals what are you waiting for. That man has been given oppurtunity after oppurtunity to clarify and teach Catholic doctrine clearly and he refuses. Depose that man as a heretic. Souls are in danger. It is unjust for cardinals and bishops to continue to remain silent. And yes once again to Marci Thomas who is defending evil shut up and Pax to you to.

Victor,

We're all here for you. We'll accompany you on your journey to Hell.

In fairness to Kavanaugh, he has never once in these comments spoken in favor of giving communion to public adulterers or even defended that sort of interpretation of Amoris, as far as I can recall.

Marc,

No sense of humor?

Kavanaugh is too clever to clearly state what he believes. That makes him far more dangerous.

Marc makes a good point. There's enough actual heresy these days without us assuming its presence in someone.

But yes, it was funny.

Anonymous, peace and good health to you and your family.

Amoris Laetitia was promulgated by the Apostolic See. You claim that Amoris Laetitia promotes heresy. Anonymous, your claim is at odds with the following Catholic teaching:

From the First Vatican Council, quoting the 529 A.D. Creed of Pope Saint Hormisdas:

"The Catholic religion has been preserved ever immaculate in the Apostolic See."
================================================================================

Anonymous, I must believe you or the True Church. Therefore, I must reject your claims in question. The True Church has assured us that based upon the promise of Jesus Christ, the Apostolic See will never teach heresy.

From the 529 A.D. Creed of Pope Saint Hormisdas:

"And indeed the words of Our Lord Jesus Christ: "Thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church", cannot be disregarded; these things which were spoken are demonstrated by the results, for the Catholic religion has been preserved ever immaculate in the Apostolic See."

Pax.

I have many, many times stated clearly what I believe.

What bothers you is that I disagree with you. And that doesn't make me dangerous.

Dangerous? LOL. Just heterodox

"Bishop Schneider, an auxiliary bishop of Maria Santissima in Astana, was a drafter of the “Profession of the immutable truths about sacramental marriage” issued by three Kazakhstani bishops Dec. 31, 2017."

Archbishop Luigi Negri, Archbishop Emeritus of Ferrara-Comacchio, added his signature to the document in question.

I just read the following on Twitter:

https://twitter.com/Game_of_Jane/status/952628462933676032

"Emeritus Archbishop who signed the Kazakh Letter on marriage actually is open to Holy Communion for divorced and remmarried in individual discerned cases."

By Andrea Tornielli, La Stampa:

Negri: “Comunione ai divorziati? Valutare il singolo caso”

L’arcivescovo emerito di Ferrara non chiude alla possibilitĂ  contemplata nel capitolo VIII di Amoris laetitia: «Non può essere data automaticamente»

Pax.
