I JUST LOVE MEDIA AWARD SHOWS! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THIS YEAR'S WINNERS!!

The Highly-Anticipated 2017

Fake News Awards

TEAM GOP - January 17, 2018
2017 was a year of unrelenting bias, unfair news coverage, and even downright fake news. Studies have shown that over 90% of the media’s coverage of President Trump is negative.
Below are the winners of the 2017 Fake News Awards.
1. The New York Times’ Paul Krugman claimed on the day of President Trump’s historic, landslide victory that the economy would never recover.

2. ABC News' Brian Ross CHOKES and sends markets in a downward spiral with false report.

3. CNN FALSELY reported that candidate Donald Trump and his son Donald J. Trump, Jr. had access to hacked documents from WikiLeaks.

(via Fox News)

4. TIME FALSELY reported that President Trump removed a bust of Martin Luther King, Jr. from the Oval Office.

5. Washington Post FALSELY reported the President’s massive sold-out rally in Pensacola, Florida was empty. Dishonest reporter showed picture of empty arena HOURS before crowd started pouring in.
6. CNN FALSELY edited a video to make it appear President Trump defiantly overfed fish during a visit with the Japanese prime minister. Japanese prime minister actually led the way with the feeding.

7. CNN FALSELY reported about Anthony Scaramucci’s meeting with a Russian, but retracted it due to a “significant breakdown in process.”

(via washingtonpost.com)

8. Newsweek FALSELY reported that Polish First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda did not shake President Trump’s hand.

9. CNN FALSELY reported that former FBI Director James Comey would dispute President Trump’s claim that he was told he is not under investigation.

10. The New York Times FALSELY claimed on the front page that the Trump administration had hidden a climate report.

(via WashingtonPost.com)
11. And last, but not least: "RUSSIA COLLUSION!" Russian collusion is perhaps the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. THERE IS NO COLLUSION!

While the media spent 90% of the time focused on negative coverage or fake news, the President has been getting results:
1. The economy has created nearly 2 million jobs and gained over $8 trillion in wealth since the President’s inauguration.
2. African Americans and Hispanics are enjoying the lowest unemployment rate in recorded history.
3. The President signed historic tax cuts and relief for hardworking Americans not seen since President Reagan.
4. President Trump’s plan to cut regulations has exceeded “2 out for every 1 in” mandate, issuing 22 deregulatory actions for every one new regulatory action.
5. The President has unleashed an American energy boom by ending Obama-era regulations, approving the Keystone pipeline, auctioning off millions of new acres for energy exploration, and opening up ANWR.
6. ISIS is in retreat, having been crushed in Iraq and Syria.
7. President Trump followed through on his promise to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel and instructed the State Department to begin to relocate the Embassy.
8. With President Trump’s encouragement, more member nations are paying their fair share for the common defense in the NATO alliance.
9. Signed the Veterans Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act to allow senior officials in the VA to fire failing employees and establishes safeguards to protect whistleblowers.
10. President Trump kept his promise and appointed Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Gosh if we only had bishops in the Church who had the strength to go against the tide like President Trump. What Trump is doing is what fighting the establishment bullies looks like. Fast forward to the Church. Francis daily is chipping away at everything and the bishops are silent. Disgusting.

Against the tide like Trump?

You mean like the tide of marriage? Three, count 'em, three "wives."

You mean like the tide of vulgarity? What did he grab?

You mean like the tide of demeaning and denigrating women? "Fat" "Pig" "Dog" "Slob" "Disgusting animal" All his words about women.

You mean like the tide of offering support for those who are victims of human rights abuses in other countries? Make American rich again, to hell with those you oppress, Mr. Prime Minister.

The Trump tide is made up of sludge. Going against it is the path of righteousness.

1. The economy has created nearly 2 million jobs and gained over $8 trillion in wealth since the President’s inauguration.

2. African Americans and Hispanics are enjoying the lowest unemployment rate in recorded history.

Both are built on the Obama legacy regarding wealth and jobs. From Bloomberg: "The stock market performed remarkably during Obama's presidency and more than tripled in value. The rate at which the stock market increased in value roughly matches the rate at which it increased during the first six years of Clinton's presidency, but the bursting of the dot com bubble at the end of Clinton's presidency erased any gains after Clinton's sixth year. President Obama has the best record of any president in modern history."

The SECOND BEST record of any president in modern history.

3. The President signed historic tax cuts and relief for hardworking Americans not seen since President Reagan.

83% of the savings go to corporations. Trump's tax bill increases the National Debt, which Republicans USED to rant about, by between $1 Trillion and $1.5 Trillion. IF the Republicans stay in power, they will begin to rant about the debt again soon and start cutting spending on the needy. It is their plan.

4. President Trump’s plan to cut regulations has exceeded “2 out for every 1 in” mandate, issuing 22 deregulatory actions for every one new regulatory action.

The Brookings Institution notes that Trump's regulatory "reform" may "become not an engine for reform, but instead will provide a blunt instrument that either
obstructs new regulations (irrespective of whether or not they are welfare-enhancing) or leads to new regulations coupled with haphazard cutting of existing regulations (again, failing to distinguish between the those that do and do not enhance social welfare).

5. The President has unleashed an American energy boom by ending Obama-era regulations, approving the Keystone pipeline, auctioning off millions of new acres for energy exploration, and opening up ANWR.

The energy boom was well under way before Trump started his campaign. Two words: "Natural Gas." And Trump's much-hyped offer of salvation to the coal industry is falling faster than a slag-heap mudslide in Appalachia.

Etc Etc Etc...

This kind of ideological fake news has been going on for a long time, some of it even against orthodox Catholicism, which is why I stopped watching TV news many years ago. In all my years of using the Internet to get my news, have never seen such smear campaigns against a POTUS by the big news outlets. That figures, because most of the people in the mass news media are graduates of universities whose political "science" and journalism departments should be called indoctrination centers for a contemporary version of Marxism. TV is extremely influential in society, and this work of the devil, as Malcolm Muggeridge once called TV, works in favour of those who control it, if opinion polls are to be believed.

Carlton: Mr Trump is a sinner, but then so are we all. Perhaps he is a broken man too. At least he honestly regrets what he did if he did them intentionally, and does not, like so many politicians, hide behind verbiage to avoid admitting faults. And unlike so may hypocrite politicians, he also tends to tell things he thinks directly as they are, rather than use political correctness. Whether that is good or bad for a POTUS to do is another question. Do you want a god as POTUS?

Carlton sounds like a bitter old Kavanaugh. I bet Carlton didn't mind Clintoon cheating on his wife and receiving oral sex in the Oval Office. I guess that is not demeaning behavior so long as it's done by a Dem.

Oh?

Trump believes in God, but hasn't sought forgiveness
Updated 9:35 PM ET, Sat July 18, 2015

Moderator Frank Luntz asked Trump whether he has ever asked God for forgiveness for his actions.

"I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so," he said. "I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don't bring God into that picture. I don't."

Trump said that while he hasn't asked God for forgiveness, he does participate in Holy Communion.

So, he continues in his adulterous union giving scandal daily.

And the sycophants excuse his behavior, rationalize his behavior, make excuses for his behavior.

When the abnormal is accepted as the normal, we are going down the tubes, fast.

Donald Trump questions if McCain is a war hero 01:45

(CNN) — Donald Trump talked about his Christian faith Saturday, but said he's never sought forgiveness for his sins.

Trump, who also made headlines for questioning Arizona Sen. John McCain's heroism Saturday, made the comments about his faith during a Q&A at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa.

The event is a gathering sponsored by several socially-conservative Christian organizations, including the Family Research Council, a socially conservative lobbying organization; Liberty University, the world's largest evangelical university; and the National Organization for Marriage, a group established to prevent the legalization of same-sex marriage.

Trump, who told CNN earlier that he is both anti-abortion and anti-same-sex marriage, said people are surprised to learn about his Christian faith.

"People are so shocked when they find ... out I am Protestant. I am Presbyterian. And I go to church and I love God and I love my church," he said.

I listened as they called my President a Muslim. I listened as they called him and his family a pack of monkeys. I listened as they said he wasn't born here. I watched as they blocked every single path to progress that they could. I saw the pictures of him as Hitler. I watched them shut down the government and hurt the entire nation twice. I watched them turn their backs on every opportunity to open worthwhile dialog. I watched them say that they would not even listen to any choice for Supreme Court no matter who the nominee was.I listened as they openly said that they will oppose him at every turn. I watched as they did just that. I listened. I watched. I paid attention. Now, I'm being called on to be tolerant. To move forward. To denounce protesters. To "Get over it." To accept this... I will not. I will do my part to make sure this great American mistake becomes the embarrassing footnote of our history that it deserves to be I will do this as quickly as possible every chance I get. I will do my part to limit the damage that this man can do to my country. I will watch his every move and point out every single mistake and misdeed in a loud and proud voice. I will let you know in a loud voice every time this man backs away from a promise he made to them. Them. The people who voted for him. The ones who sold their souls and prayed for him to win. I will do this so that they never forget. And they will hear me. They will see it in my eyes when I look at them. They will hear it in my voice when I talk to them. They will know that I know who they are. They will know that I know what they are. Do not call for my tolerance. I've tolerated all I can. Now it's their turn to tolerate ridicule. Be aware, make no mistake about it, every single thing that goes wrong in our country from this day forward is now Trump's fault just as much as they thought it was Obama's. I find it unreasonable for them to expect from me what they were entirely unwilling to give. - P. P. Valenzano

URL,

LOL - the media slobbered over Obama. I see you are a fake catholic who supports the Abortion Party, formerly the Democratic Party

How much did the Koch Brothers pay you, TJM? You must be on a retainer, or working for them on commission. Or you could be Sheldon Adelson's shill?

Bean:
Judging the Presbyterian Mr Trump using Catholic ideals or standards is beside the point. He has been successful to the point of being the leader of the greatest country in the world (USA), and this is proof that has been chosen from all eternity as one of the elect to enter the Kingdom according to the Calvinism influencing his religion. Does he really need to confess his sins, then? Changing your argument around, how many Catholics go to confession to seek forgiveness?

Kavanaugh at 9:13 pm, at least I am not a catholic priest who is obviously being paid by George Soros who is the major financial underwriter of the Abortion Party, formerly the Democratic Party. Have you no shame?
