FIGHTER JET COMBAT OVER THE AIRSPACE OF SOUTH CAROLINA WHERE I LIVE

A very interesting morning as the airspace above Hilton Head and northward to Myrtle Beach was shut down for National Defense and fighter jet warfare. Then America shot down the Red Chinese Spy Balloon with God only knows what kind of viruses in it and other germ warfare and nuclear devices. Hopefully none.

You can watch an amateur video and hear the explosion at point of contact taken  by a resident south of Myrtle Beach, north of Hilton Head from this Facebook link HERE

These are photos of fighter jets high above my condo on Hilton Head Island. I took these off my back balcony:

Yeah, shot down after it crossed from coast to coast. Big frigging deal.

Just more theater from a pathetic excuse of an administration.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

There's no information this balloon could have obtained that has not been available to spy satellites for 50 years. The hysteria some exhibited was unwarranted, nothing more than political theater.

The decision to wait until a balloon crash was no threat to populations was the right choice.

The info already made its way to Red China and Joetato gets his 10%!

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

FRMJK, and you must also have top secret information that the China Coronavirus was not manufactured in China, to be an agent of germ warfare, perhaps more deleterious to mankind than any nuclear bomb, germ warfare. And what better way to sprinkled it over a whole swath of the population of the USA and Canada, starting in Alaska and ending at Hilton Head Island, SC?

Fr K - apologist for the Party of Moloch - he would be saying the exact opposite if a Republican was in the White House.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Fr. ALLAN McDonald - You faux sinophobia is silly.

If the balloon was spilling germs you should be feeling the effects by now...

I can’t respond right now as I am in China!

"Yes, Chinese Spy Balloons Flew Over The U.S. When President Trump Was In Office Too"

Now, will we hear Jerome weigh in with, "...a pathetic excuse of an administration." ?

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

Yes, it was doing Democrat dusting to give them TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). Very effective I might add.

TJM said...

The spokesman for the Party of Moloch who suffers from an advance case of Trump Derangement Syndrome has arrived with disinformation from Leftwing Bloomberg - other sources refute this claim. Of course he also believed the Hunter Biden laptop did not exist and that the Russian Collusion Hoax was real because leftwing new sources told him so. The fact that these sources lied and have been discredited makes no difference to him.

I find it strange with vocations to foster, conversions to be made and a parish to run he has time to serve as a political hack for the Party of Moloch where abortion is “healthcare.”

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

"Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) said Sunday that Pentagon officials informed him that “several Chinese balloon incidents have happened in the last few years,” including a sighting over Florida."

"China flew spy balloons over the US while Trump was president, but nobody realized until after he left office, reports say"

Etc...

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

Photographic evidence is required to prove this wild exertion. Others Snopes discredits the claim.

TJM said...

Father McDonald,

A guy who votes for a Party that calls abortion “healthcare” is a credulous person to begin with. He also has a hard time dealing with reality: no new hot wars under Trump, working class better off financially and minorities enjoying their lowest rate of unemployment ever under Trump. I am starting to think he hates the working classes while identifying with the rich and powerful: Clinton, Obama and Biden who made millions off of public “service.”

TJM said...

Father McDonald,

Here is the first comment on this that makes sense since we know how "fair" the media was to President Trump during his term:

"Ratcliffe insisted the American people can refute the Biden administration’s claim for themselves.

“Do you remember during the Trump administration when photographers on the ground and commercial airline pilots were talking about a spy balloon over the United States that people could look up and see even with the naked eye and that the media that hated Donald Trump wasn’t reporting? I don’t remember that either because it didn’t happen,” he said."

Jerome Merwick said...

Give it up here folks. There is one person posting here who will ALWAYS have the last word on ANYTHING that even mildly casts anything favorable on Donald Trump. He has devoted himself to making sure that he convinces everyone just how terrible, awful and evil Trump was and he goes berserk when anyone doesn't see it his way. This one single devotion is more important to him than anything--ANYTHING. It trumps (no pun intended) all other topics and concerns. So make way, give him his last word and move on.

Oh, I forgot to mention that, like St. Nancy Pelosi--he doesn't hate anyone. It must be true, because HE said so!

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Jerome - "one person posting here" Now who would that be......?

Funny how when Trump's errors are presented you either 1) say "Give it up", 2) accuse those who don't stare your unlimited admiration for the serial adulterer and liar and genital grabber of being "haters," or 3) sit there silently and brood, knowing that there's no valid response for the facts about the former president.

Isn't it odd that I can say I don't hate Trump, but that's a lie.

But you can say I do hate Trump, and your word must be truth.

(I suspect that doesn't seem the least bit odd to you.)

Jerome Merwick said...

Oh, Father Kavanaugh,

Just because I don't have some emotional need to justify some rabid sense of being right doesn't mean I've "given up"or that I'm "brooding" (do you have ESP?). I don't HAVE to have the last word and I got tired of those posts that had 80 or more responses and changed no one's mind a long time ago.

Try baiting your protege marky. He'll bite on anything.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Jerome, do you have ESP? Otherwise how would you know with such certainty that I hate Trump? For the record, again, I don't.

In my estimation he is an amoral transactionalist, a serial liar, a sexual deviant, and a grotesquely insecure hoarder of wealth. As such, I find him wholly unworthy of holding any office of public trust.

It is convenient that you get "tired" when facts are presented for when ch you can offer no valid response.

I work as a teacher. Sometimes the subject of various presidents comes up in my classes. Over the years, I've noticed a few things.

1) If Obama's name comes up, invariably a black student, usually a girl will shout, "I don't care what nobody say, HE STILL my president!"

2) I have redneck-ish future good ole boy students who will practically start spouting Q Anon theories and ramble on about how every election is fixed.

3) This blog has a priest who will jump into action virtually anytime something positive is said about Donald Trump and he has a backlog of "unquestionable" sources and links to back up his assessment of the president.

4) I was pleased with Donald Trump's performance in his role as president. His policies worked and he was a voice of sensibility for me and others in a world run amok. I am fully aware of his faults, egoism, impatience and other flaws. However, he kept more promises than any other president in my lifetime and appointed enough pro-life justices to overturn a horrible law that no one ever got to vote for regarding abortion. I am fully aware that this man's personal history of sexual license is offensive to many, myself included. However, I did not elect him to be my sexual ethics instructor. I elected him to execute policies that would stop the managed decline of America. No doubt you can present me with all sorts of Ivy League studies that will "prove" I am wrong about all of this.

I wish all presidents could be great leaders in their moral example. However, that hasn't been much of an option with the people we get to vote for every year. Joe Biden is every bit the moral profligate that Trump ever was and he is possibly even more compromised when it comes to serving his own financial interests. Obama was a joke and there are persistent rumors that he is in a loveless marriage to cover his homosexuality. George W. Bush was a fake Republican and a closeted globalist. Bill Clinton was a sexual predator. George Bush Sr. was the head of the CIA, which is enough to morally compromise anyone. Ronald Reagan was entertaining. Jimmy Carter will fall for anything and call it a civil right. Gerald Ford...wow, that's going back. Nixon was ridiculously paranoid even though, until Watergate, he was one of the most popular presidents in history. Johnson was a shameful, vulgar, disgusting pervert. Kennedy was a womanizer on steroids with a bad back. Eisenhower cheated on Mamie--you see a pattern here?

I am not interested in debating you about Trump or Obama or Biden or anyone else, not because I am tired, but because the entire enterprise is tiresome. No one changes his/her minds with these "arguments" and it soon turns into a "gotcha" fest. Sorry, just not interested. We disagree. I'll leave it there. If you want to call me names or mock me for not engaging with you any more, go ahead. I contain multitudes.

Jerome Merwick said...

And finally, Father Kavanaugh, you are right. I don't "know" that you hate Trump. My observation is based on the relentlessly energy I've witnessed you devoting to "correcting" every favorable comment ever made about Trump on this blog. It just seems a bit obsessive and hyper-energetic. The only other person I've seen here that had a similar obsession is Mark Thomas' (with a small 'm') compulsion to praise Pope Francis for every exhalation he has. But you're right--I can't read minds and hearts.

Then again, maybe you secretly work for the Trump Organization and you are baiting us with your criticisms to help the campaign team develop talking points. Who knows? I don't.

Jerome Merwick said...

relentless--not relentlessly.

Father McDonald, you COULD help us out with a little editing once in a while!

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

I can delete comments but there are no editing tools with blogspot. Heck, everyone knows I need an editor!

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Jerome - Your pro-Trump arguments is "He is a terrible person with multiple serious failings, but because he did what I approved of and what benefitted me and mine, I support him."

My argument is, "He was a terrible person with multiple serious failings who will do some things I approve of an benefit me and mine, but that's an inadequate basis for choosing a president."

No, I'm not going to present you with "Ivy League studies," there's your irrational fear and loathing of the educated again, you can find all the contradictory evidence you like. The problem is, you won't look for it. If is it presented you dismiss it as a product of the "elite," or you ignore it altogether and, at that point, find the entire enterprise tiring.

Jerome Merwick said...

Well Father, I can only thank you for your insightful analysis and ending this on such a cordial note. I look forward to one day being so gifted that I can read minds too!

TJM said...

Jerome Merwick,

A priest who cannot acknowledge there were no new hot wars under Trump and the working class was better off financially under Trump has serious issues grasping reality and clearly lacks intellectual honesty. He is on par in that regard with Mark Thomas. He also blindly supports a Party that worships the slaughter of the unborn as evidenced once again by Party members sporting abortion pins during the SOTU - pure evil. Contumacious, obdurate and uneducable is not a good look for someone who is supposed to be a priest.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

TJM. You continue to lie about me. I know that, alas, these words will fall on blind eyes and that your lying will continue. I hope that, one day by God's grace, you will come to realize how destructive your lies are to yourself and that you will give them up.

TJM said...

Fr K,

Right back at you, as Prevaricator in Chief. Did you get your abortion pin so you can affix it to your chasuble?
