CREEPING INFALLIBILITY AND OTHER SUCH NONSENSE…

Every time I hear a Vatican syndolist speak, I cringe. It’s all horizontal 1970’s “I’m okay, you’re okay” as well as a creeping infallibility to shore up their flawed ideology about the Church and evangelization.

It shows how desperate they really are and not only that, how shallow. It also shows how gnostic they are.

I’ve just read a couple of commentaries that those who are pushing back on supporting the nonsense coming out of Rome in terms of the liturgy, synodality and the incoherence of the Vatican. These sycophants of this incoherence,  tell the rest of us that we are not following the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Yes, these people, to include cardinals, are master manipulators who can rival Alex Murdaugh in manipulating people to believe in his lies.

They and exclusively they, determine what is of the Holy Spirit and what isn’t; who is and who isn’t.

The good Sister Shallow of the Seven Horizontals says that the Youth Synod defined synodality and certainly this definition is infallible because it was of the Holy Spirit. She spoke that, not from the Petrine chair, but her podium on a platform.

This is incredulous. Where is God in this presentation? Where is Jesus Christ, crucified and risen? Where is sin? Where is mercy? Where is salvation? And yes, tell me how many Catholic are going to be on fire for synodality that ecclesializes!!!!!! You can’t make this crap up!  Tell me how many times you read about soteriology  in her infallible decree, Holy Spirit on fire decree:

Sr Nathalie Becquart: ‘Synodality –

the process that ecclesializes'

May God help us all. This and the Holy Father's re-org of the Pontifical Universities in Rome should help in finally unifying the church. I imagine "The Greg" will be the center of the universe because we all know that only the SJs have figured it out. I cite Georgetown and BC as poster children for how VII is to be interpreted. Ugh! I can't stand this guy!!

I know this is going to sound sexist, but I have to ask...

Why is it that women are far more likely to buy into garbage like this and promote it?

The women of today have fallen so far, it's hard to find any you can respect. What do I mean?

WOMEN seem to be the most militant in their objection to the EF.
WOMEN seem to be the most insistent about Communion in the hand.
WOMEN seem to be the most militant about LGBTQ..."rights".
WOMEN seem more eager to get tattoos (a public sign of sheer stupidity) than men.
WOMEN seem more likely to follow astrology/horoscopes.
WOMEN seem more likely to consult with psychics.

WOMEN have the power to set the moral tone and standards of any culture by what they are willing to tolerate and what they will not tolerate. Today, ALL is tolerated and we live in a culture that is occult and pornographic.

I know, I know. It sounds sexist. It's all anecdotal because the verb is "seem". But I am accurately reporting my observations. Anyone have some insight (besides calling me a male chauvinist pig)?

Jerome Merwick,

I saw the movie "Elvis" for the first time on Saturday night. When Elvis was performing, the young women went bat sh-t crazy and threw their underwear on the stage. Correct me if I am wrong, but I have never seen males do things like this, so you may be onto something.

Jerome,

I would not worry about being “politically incorrect”.

I don’t think many are aware of the true origins of being “politically correct”. It did not really originate in the 1980s to 1990s in the West. It did not originally involve a desire to be polite, kind, respectful and inoffensive and not hurtful etc…I am pretty sure it originated in the Soviet Union under Stalin in the 1930s….as in Russia then, a politically naive writer, a politically naive economist etc being told “Comrade! Please understand! What you are saying may well be technically true, even factually correct (eg famines, the fall in the USSR population, or sudden irrational shifts in foreign policy etc) but, comrade, believe me!, what you are saying is definitely politically incorrect!”
Or, for example, ordinary Russians under Stalin in the 1930s knowing it was factually true they were working longer hours and there had been 3 consecutive drops in bread, milk and potato rations BUT knowing it was politically incorrect to state and acknowledge this - it was really even politically incorrect to think it!

Almost a 100 years later in the West, being “politically correct” can still often involve a denial of reality.

Ooooo, Jerome. Be careful surmising the relative gullibility of women around the Holy Family Altar RosarySociety of Dayton. They use BS on their garden after they pluck the lead from it.

Likewise, the same thing happened with the Beatles. One of the reasons they quit touring is because THEY COULD NOT HEAR THEMSELVES PLAYING, so they had no idea whether they were playing well or not on any given night. Medical doctors actually testified that girls experienced org_sms at their concerts.

Is there something in the constitution of females that makes them more likely to be seduced by all this nonsense? I'll be honest, I once supported what most people call feminism, but it's been a huge failure. It's left women unhappier than ever, men not knowing their role in the world and permitting women to vote has resulted in elections that have had less than desirable results. And when you look at the angry women on both sides of the aisle in Washington...well, I think we've created more problems with this than could possibly have been solved.

I hear footsteps...

Jerome Merwick,

Feminism is dead, its present state a total fraud. They will not even defend girls athletics and bathrooms from mentally ill people who think they are women. And we have some fine examples of this insanity in the current White House Cabinet. The bishops? Crickets

Jerome Merwick,

Little known fact. Eleanor Roosevelt when she was young did not favor suffrage for women. FDR was in favor of it before she was. There are too few Margaret Thatchers but plenty of AOCs

Sophia here: Ok gentlemen, I wish I could disagree with your observation re (all too many) women, but I definitely cannot- I have too much integrity to do so! And re "political correctness", I concluded very early on that the very fact that correct has that particular qualifier, says immediately, that one is being "played"! I strive to be polite, gracious and correct, not "politically Correct". I even declare that, when applicable, as a disclosure when I am giving talks.
