CANNED RAVIOLI IS DELICIOUS UNTIL YOU TRY TRUE, FRESH ITALIAN HANDMADE RAVIOLI

I watched a video of a normal progressive parish Mass from last Sunday. UGH! The contemporary choir and their music selections were trite, didactic and, well, mediocre. The manner of celebration uninspiring and blah, a canned version of an authentic Mass.

It is like Chef Boyardee canned ravioli. If that is all you know and have enjoyed eating it since you were a kid, when you actually get authentic Italian Ravioli made in Italy and by Italians, you realize for the first time that the Ravioli you once liked, out of a can, is horrible compared to the good and authentic Ravioli we Italians enjoy. You don’t want to go back to Chef Boyardee no matter how much you once loved it!

When Catholics who for a lifetime are exposed to mediocre progressive liturgies befreit of true beauty and splendor in style of music, singing and celebration, but then experience the glory of the TLM and its Gregorian Chant, polyphony as well as external beauty that leads to contemplation and a true Catholic mysticism, they don’t want to go back to Chef Boyardee, the progressive, didactic forms of the Mass they once enjoyed thoroughly.

Well Brand X has done a wonderful job of emptying the churches. Tradition is for the young

Chef Boyardee out of a can is disgusting unless you have 10 mins for a meal then you thank goodness you always keep one in the pantry.

If we're likening the Chef to the NO, there's no question that simple and processed doesn't compare to the care and thoughtful nature of a made-from-scratch meal.

That "Canned Version" photo caused me to have a PTSD flashback to my childhood. Simultaneously, I threw up in my mouth a little.
