I go to the beach at Hilton Head Island on my day off each Monday, if I can. It is a quick one hour drive from Richmond Hill. This little beach house is about a half mile up from my beach area in what is called Seapines. If you are familiar with Hilton Head, this is the secondary entrance to Seapines. Seapines is an exclusive area on Hilton Head where Harbor Town is and the iconic Hilton Head Light House. You have to pay to go into Seapines!
If you like looking at houses with the ocean in your backyard, this is quite entertaining and amazing:

Where is the prie-dieu?
Brings back memories, Father. My Dad worked in construction when I was a little girl. He built a lot of houses in the Sea Pines area on Hilton Head. He didn't like being away from his family for such lengths of time as working in construction far away from home required, so he quit to pursue farming. He was a crop farmer for the rest of his life...peanuts, soybeans, cotton and corn. He was Southern Baptist. Please pray for the repose of his soul.
Anonymous K,
I am surprised you know what it is

When it comes to where/how we live (the size of the residence), I am guided by the following from Vatican II:
PRESBYTERORUM ORDINIS
"Before the other followers of Christ, let priests set aside every appearance of vanity in their possessions.
"Let them arrange their homes so that they might not appear unapproachable to anyone, lest anyone, even the most humble, fear to visit them."
That is my approach. What a beautiful teaching!
Pax.

ROME, July 26, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – Sources inside the Vatican suggest that Pope Francis aims to end Pope Benedict XVI’s universal permission for priests to say the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM), also known as the Extraordinary Form of the Mass.
Mark Thomas you have need not fear the approachability of that residence. There have been people coming in and out even the windows on weekends.
