Prior to the wedding rehearsal on Friday, I baptized the bride's nephew and she and her groom were the godparents. Then we had the wedding rehearsal. On Saturday they were married (an existing civil marriage blessed/convalidated or "sacramentalized") with a Nuptial Mass. And today (Sunday) their oldest son in the photo makes his First Holy Communion with about 40 other second graders. Cool! And both mom and dad are active duty army at Fort Stewart not far from Richmond Hill.
