THE GERMANS AND THE GERMANIC BISHOPS ARE ON THE VERGE OF SCHISM AND APOSTASY AND DR. MASSIMO FAGIOLLI IS COMPLAINING ABOUT CULTURE WARS IN THE AMERICAN EPISCOPATE AND THE INFLUENCE OF ORTHODOX BISHOPS HERE

What the Church needs today is virulent masculinity in her bishops and the only ones offering this are the orthodox ones and they sell books. The feminized progressive wing of bishops are, well, impotent and aren’t selling books because of intellectual deficits and, well, no one will read their books.

That in in nutshell is what Dr. Massimo Faggioli is saying although not quite as explicitly as I have put it.

Keep in mind that “Beans” is not calling out the bishops in Germany and elsewhere who are about to create a major schism in the Church through apostasy over the culture war of sex in the Church, LGBTQ, etc marriages, ordaination of anyone especially those of the LGBTQetc types and a dismantling of Humanae Vitae and a collapse of Catholic morality as well as other doctrines and dogmas of the Church.

No, Massimo focuses in on Archbishop Chaput and Cardinal Sarah as the greatest threats.

YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS STUFF UP!

NCR reprints this long article:

The cultural disarmament of progressive Catholic bishops

Father McDonald,

Do yourself and us a favor and write this left-wing loon off. If the other priest who posts here begins a new blog of his own, he can feature this bilge.

The article does a good job of answering its own question. The only dispute I have is with characterizing the leftists as progressive or intellectual. Reading that last sentence I realize it may be construed as insulting, but it is the opposite. The left revels in emotion and feelings and recovery of an imaginary past before organized religion. They attempt to define themselves because they are so completely severed from the Church history and teaching to avoid tradition as a mode of fealty. They imitate intellectualism while producing only new excuses for hedonism. Pope Francis has, I believe, good intentions. But his pontificate seems more of a booster shot or poultice meant to draw the foul humours out of the body where they can be washed away.
