Did you not read the Vatican circular instructing on the abbreviated form of the Easter vigil this year without gathering around the fire / lighting of paschal candle or adult initiations this year?

Who reads the Vatican? Business as usual in Richmond Hill.

Msgr. Marini K must have been really upset with people receiving Holy Communion on the tongue and that his buddy, Biden, didn't mention Jesus in his "Easter Address." This may have been the reason:

"A major Australian T.V. channel has continued to expose the weakness and corruption of the Biden administration. In a recent segment of his show, Alan Jones of Sky News Australia said Biden’s declining mental and physical health have raised increasing alert among U.S. allies.

“This is the President of the United States of America who is illiterate, incoherent, cognitively deficient,” Jones said. “And a leader of the Western world, it is an insult to those who fought for democracy.”

I attended the Vigil at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Savannah last Saturday evening. Despite what some here think, apparently without any reason to do so, is that there was no gathering outside the church for the lighting of the Easter Fire.

There was. I was there, you were not.

Shame on those who bear false witness.

As for what "Australia" might think of say... "Australia’s Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese also openly condemned the U.S. President, tweeting that: ‘...the violent insurrection in Washington is an assault on the rule of law and democracy’ and ‘Donald Trump has encouraged this response ...’" IndependentAustralia.net

Troy Bramston, writing in The Australian: "Donald Trump’s disastrous, degenerate and dangerous presidency will come to an end in around 100 hours, at midday on January 20. It could not come soon enough. It is fitting that Trump’s presidency ends in disgrace and dishonour, and shame and humiliation for those who supported him, with a justified second impeachment." theaustralian.com.au

In October 2016 the upper house of the Parliament of New South Wales, Australia, "passed a motion condemning Donald Trump and endorsing a description of the Republican nominee as a 'revolting slug'."https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/revolting-slug-parliaments-surprise-trump-condemnation-20161013-gs1c0n.html

"Austalia's oppositon leader..."
The key word hear is OPPOSITION.

"upper house of the Parliament of New South Wales, Australia"

And what of the lower house? Selective outrage-nothing to bother about, just another thing to move on from.

As far as Troy Bramston, writing in The Australian...who cares?

And then there's the "credible" Alan Jones of Sky News:

"In 2012, the Australian Communications and Media Authority censured Jones for broadcasting falsities about anthropological carbon dioxide, ordering him (Alan Jones) to undergo factual accuracy training and employ a fact-checker."

"In August 2019, Jones was criticized for his remark that Prime Minister Scott Morrison should "shove a sock down [the] throat" of his New Zealand counterpart Jacinda Ardern following her criticism at the 2019 Pacific Islands Forum conference in Tuvalu of the Australian Government's inaction on climate change. Jones later derided Ardern as a lightweight Prime Minister and hypocrite. Jones' remarks were widely criticized by several quarters including former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his successor Morrison.[67][68][69] At least five companies canceled advertising with Jones' 2GB radio show following complaints from customers.[70] Jones later sent an apology letter to Prime Minister Ardern, apologizing for "not choosing his words carefully."

"Jones in his role with 2UE was ordered by a court to pay over $55,000 damages for defaming David Parker, a former councillor of the NRMA, the NSW Motorists' organisation;"

"Jones claimed on-air that rugby league referee Bill Harrigan was biased. Harrigan sued Jones for defamation and, in 2001, was awarded damages of $90,000."

"Jones was successfully sued by members of the Wagner family after he accused them of being responsible for the deaths of 12 people during the 2010–11 Queensland floods following the collapse of a wall in a quarry they owned.[82] Jones and the radio stations that broadcast him were ordered to pay $3.7 million in damages to the Wagner family."

"Jones was found guilty of breaching the Children's (Criminal Proceedings) Act 1987 (NSW), by broadcasting the suppressed name of a juvenile witness in a murder trial."

"On 25 November 2011 the Australian Communications and Media Authority found that Jones had breached the commercial radio code of practice in his reporting of environmental issues. His reporting was found to lack accuracy and failed to allow other viewpoints to be heard."

But, yes, Jones is SOOOO credible.....

Matilda K,

Lol! Unlike Obama, “Mr.Peace Prize”, President Trump did not start any hot wars, and he also did not sign bills providing abortion funding during the pandemic like “catholic” Biden
