O MY JESUS, SAVE US FROM THE FIRES OF HELL AND LEAD ALL PEOPLE TO HEAVEN ESPECIALLY THOSE MOST IN NEED OF YOUR MERCY!

This is just unbelievable! Isn’t it gorgeous? NOT!

The new and shall we say pathologically creative altar in the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta a Gallarate.

Rumor has it that it was designed to attract those peace loving Islamic militants.

The road to hell is paved with parson's skulls and good intentions.

It's ahead of it's time!

It was designed by Headly Lamarr!

Nobody knows the trouble I've seen!

Some of them just won't face the music!

The end is near, Kavanaugh and I agree on something!

This will only reinforce people's notions that the hierarchy are clueless.

Bee here:

I think they should have used feet.... Or butts.....

Just when you think you've seen it all....

God bless.

P.S. At first I didn't recognize they were heads, and thought they were flour sacks filled with rocks....

Maybe it was a Halloween themed Mass? Also, the altar looks like fake marble, plastic in fact!

Here is my favorite comment from Father Sotelo:

"I’m sure that if we just “put our heads” together, we can decide on some lofty meaning for this altar. Perhaps we’ll think it’s “head and shoulders” above other examples of modern art. What strikes me is how many unemployed in Italy pray at church to find a good “headhunter” for job placement. They must feel that this altar speaks to them."

Remember, all those stories that after Vatican II, liturgical progressives wrecked lots and lots of beautiful churches are just urban legends. All way overblown.

Fr Fox, please, get your head in the right place.

Father Fox,

And the sad thing is that these "progressives" spent millions in the process, money that could have been used by the poor! No irony there.
