PRAYERS PLEASE!

Hurricanes infrequently hit our area except when my bishop decided to send me to the coastal empire over two years ago. First there was Hurricane Matthew which required evacuation; then there was Hurricane Irma last summer which required evacuations and now it appears the Hurricane Florence it making us a bullseye! Pray for all in harms' way!!!!!

No, not you! They’re actually predicting Wilmington NC as the target...but preparedness is the key!

Old map. Wilmington ND is the target now. And I was blaming myself for 2 hurricanes, two tornadoes, and an ice storm. Glad yo know it is you!!!

Well, Fr. K, of course you’re to blame—for the weather and for every other issue we can come up with!! And you’re probably to blame for my cat being sick all last week...

Is you cat's name "Zazzles"?

Nothing as dazzling as ”Zazzles”. It’s “Bunny”, a rescue kitty for granddaughter.

Much as I like the Georgia coast, and hate dealing with Atlanta traffic, this is time of year I am glad to live 200+ miles inland...we are fortunate that most of Georgia's population does not live along the coast, as if it did, evacuation (in a hurricane) would be extremely difficult....
