IS POPE FRANCIS’ APPEASEMENT BY STEALTH WITH THE LGBTQ IDEOLOGIES THE CAUSE OF THE CATHOLIC MELTDOWN WE ARE EXPERIENCING?

Progressive Catholics want a Church that doesn’t judge, condemn or issue anathemas unless of course their ideologies are being questioned, just think Viganò!

We know that the fake synods were rigged to manipulate an outcome where mortal sin of any kind, but specially the sexual mortal sins would not prevent Catholics who love their sins from receiving Holy Communion without judgement or guilt.

Of course none of us is so stupid to think this is not the way to open the door to Holy Communion for active LGBTQ Catholics also to receive Holy Communion.

We know that secularism sees traditional (orthodox) Catholic teaching on every aspect of human sexuality as anathema. The pope, eager to dialogue with the secular world, appeases them in this détente. We've seen how well this dialgue with Protestants and non Christians has worked in terms of undermining the unique role of the true Church in the world leading to a kind of faux universalism.  Now this is being applied to the worldview of things in the secular sense.

When it comes to abortion and every aspect of the lgbtq secular agenda, the Catholic Church is painted as a hate community provoking hate crimes against abortionists and lgbtq folks.

Thus the Church which is meant to proclaim love of God and neighbor is persecuted  by the state religion of secularism as a criminal organization and to be brought down as such.

We see how damnable progressive Catholicism is starting with their demolishing the Orthodox Catholic Church as a result of Vatican II in the 1960’s and ‘70’s. With Pope Francis, these same 1960’s destroyers of Catholicism have actual power from the papal magisterium.

But my question to orthodox Catholics is this: how do we fight the secularist’s war on traditional Catholicism which paints us as promoters of hate crimes against the lgbtq community and that we are women haters or misogynistic as it concerns birth control, abortion and ordination of women?

Pope Francis’ stealthy agenda to get the world to love us is backfiring and melting down. What would a traditionalist pope do about the world’s hatred of the Church?

I do not have all the answers. but I can tell you this: The only sector of the Church that is showing any REAL growth are the Traditionalists. Are they perfect? No. But they are bringing vocations. They are defending. They are the rock of faith where the rest of the Catholic world is crumbling.

The post Vatican II model of the Church is crumbling because it is unsustainable. We cannot compromise with the world. Period. The growth of the Church before Vatican II's "renewal" proves it.

"Pope Francis’ stealthy agenda to get the world to love us is backfiring and melting down." I don't know if I agree with that statement. I do think that the liberal secularists know what the Popes agenda is, and I think that they are also stealthy fighting the Church. Francis never endorsed their agenda. He simply did not let their agendas dominate. I also question when people say the Pope is so against the traditionalists. I wonder if he is not letting them win the battle so that they integrate within the Church, not one or another but both. Does "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer" describe Pope Francis?

Bee here:

Fr. McD asked, "...how do we fight the secularist’s war on traditional Catholicism which paints us as promoters of hate crimes against the lgbtq community and that we are women haters or misogynistic as it concerns birth control, abortion and ordination of women?"

When that secular ideology falls it is going to fall hard, and the effects will be just like the bombshell that exploded when the hidden sinful actions of the clerics living lie were exposed.

God is allowing the Church to be portrayed as the problem, because the world and the devil always say God and His commandments are the problem...oh, if only God didn't have all these pesky rules that bind us up and makes us slaves to Him and ruin our good times.... If only God were nicer....

We as those who have been converted know something more...that never, never will mankind experience the freedom he craves without obedience to the laws of God, whether those are the laws of the physical universe, or the laws operative in the spiritual realm.

Our job as Catholics is to hold fast to what we know is true in spite of the persecution and lies told about us, knowing that once this false ideology is exposed for the destructive force it is, we will be vindicated and God will triumph, and people will see clearly which way to go. People will once again say, the Catholics (who are holding to the teachings of the Apostles, not the CINO's who change doctrine to please the world) are right, and we too should follow those teachings.

This time is OUR time of proving we are followers of Christ. Previous generations had different trials, just as severe. However, added to our woes is that we now have enemies within the Church in powerful positions who preach the secular religion rather than the true Faith and that compounds the attacks upon us.

Our only weapon is prayer. Truly, only God can solve this.

God bless.

The Church should definitely not “demonize” those it wishes to persuade or even those who seek to demonize the Church. “Demonizing” discourse by the Church (represented in particular by some lay Catholics posting on social media) is unhelpful and counter-productive. It will never succeed in persuading or deflecting, but will only result in further alienation, doubling down on entrenched positions, and further assaults on the Church.

Isn’t it better for the Church to “listen” to the individual stories of those it seeks to persuade and then articulate its truth with respect, understanding, compassion, and agape love in a way that responds to the particular circumstances reflected in these individual stories? This should not be hard for the Church to do. It happens every day in the confessional. Indeed, isn’t this the animating spirit behind any personal, pastoral approach as opposed to an impersonal, dogmatic approach?

Lets face it...a lot of the moral problems in the United States have to do with the Supreme Court...as in, they "make up law" and find "non-existent" rights---the so-called "right to abortion" being one. Think about it---how many people think that something must be right or OK if the Supreme Court says it is? Then we got the "right" to gay marriage---even though almost every state had voted against such. And the problem gets to be, even if Roe and the gay marriage "right" were to be reversed, people have gotten so used to both that they would remain legal in many states...I mean, can anyone imagine California and New York banning abortion even if allowed to do so? Or Vermont? New Jersey?

The Kavanaugh nomination really is about Roe versus Wade, when it comes down to it.

While I think he is upstanding today, when you read and hear about what things were like at his Catholic high school back then, you have to wonder where the discipline was? Obviously there were no nuns with rulers at Georgetown Prep in those days!!!

Yes , it is. But it is not be because it is associated with the sin that cries out to heaven for vengence, although that would be as good a reason as we should need. It is because Pope Francis, who is probably not a homosexual, made an alliance with a group he does not understand. There are fables of Homer or Aesop that seem to fit.

People often complain about judges or Justices who "make up law." They call them "activist" judges or "judges who legislate from the bench."

These complaints will always ring hollow unless and until I hear from the complainers this: "This judge has made a decision that I agree with 100%. It benefits me, my family, my business, or my community. However, in making this ruling/decision, this activist judge is legislating from the bench" and I reject the decision and call for the judge to be impeached or otherwise removed from office."

In other words, "activist" judges are, in my experience, only those whose decisions the complainers disagree with. Never has a judge been accused of "legislating from the bench" when the person impacted by the decision approves of the decision.

Because the Supreme Court has and will hear hundreds of cases that do not involve any question about abortion, it is dangerously narrow-minded to say, "The Kavanaugh nomination really is about Roe versus Wade, when it comes down to it."

Decisions by the SCOTUS impact many, many aspects of our lives. From voting to business, from interstate contracts to the non-delegation doctrine, from what constitutes "reasonable efforts" in protecting endangered species to whether burglary of a nonpermanent or mobile structure that is adapted or used for overnight accommodation can qualify as “burglary” under the Armed Career Criminal Act of 1984, the Court is far, far more than a legal arbiter in the matter of abortion.

Anoymous at 810, I stand by what I said yesterday, the Kavanaugh nomination is about Roe v Wade. You don't hear the Democrats saying they oppose him because of the Endangered Species Act or the Armed Career Criminal Act of 1984. They claim "millions of lives are at risk" because Roe v Wade would be overturned (although previous Republican majorities on the Court have failed to do so).

Sure, the Supreme Court deals with many other issues, and there are probably a lot of rulings that are not the old 5-4 ideological divide. But the liberals are especially worried that Roe, which basically was legislation, will go...as of course it should.

Opinion, I think the LGBTQ’s invaded the Church. They took over the priesthood, the religious orders, the parish councils. Is the pope appeasing them, or have they simply surrounded him? Is their opposition simply outnumbered? It’s not an uncommon strategy.
