BOMBSHELL! THE HOLY FATHER AT THE CHAPEL OF HIS RESIDENCE AT THE VATICAN MOTEL 6 BASHES LOONEY PROGRESSIVE "CATHOLICS" DURING HIS DAILY HOMILY!

I have this feeling that Pope Francis has had a "come to Jesus" talk with some of his advisors in terms of how he is being spun by both the radical traditionalists of the Church and the looney progressives. They both think this Holy Father is heterodox. He is far from it, but as a new pope and elected unexpectedly I am sure, the Holy Father has been on a learning curve in terms of his off-the-cuff remarks that are imprecise and can lead to people thinking his is heterodox when in fact he is far, far from it!

Keep in mind what has happened only in the last two weeks. He has endorsed the Extraordinary Form of the Mass twice, once to a Cardinal and another time in recognizing the FSSP society.

He is in agreement with an Archbishop who supports Pope Benedict's school of thought in terms of interpreting Vatican II within the context of the hermeneutic of reform in continuity and clearly repudiating the more liberal schools primarily the one in Bologna, Italy.

He has ordered that the text of his interview with the editor of Repubblicca be removed from the Vatican website due to its imprecise reporting of the meeting the pope had with him as well.

There have been other signs too, like wearing gold vestments at Mass and having the Benedictine Altar arrangement in the traditional manner with the candles placed in a straight line.

But another bombshell that is clearly directed against the looney progressives, (the neo-gnostics of the Church today) is in today's homily at the Vatican Motel 6:

God save us from the “hegemonic uniformity ” of the “one line of thought”, “fruit of the spirit of the world that negotiates everything”, even the faith. This was Pope Francis’ prayer during mass this morning at Casa Santa Marta, commenting on a passage from the Book of Maccabees, in which the leaders of the people do not want Israel to be isolated from other nations , and so abandon their traditions to negotiate with the king.
They go to “negotiate ” and are excited about it. It is as if they said “we are progressives; let’s follow progress like everyone else does”. As reported by Vatican Radio, the Pope noted that this is the “spirit of adolescent progressivism” according to which “any move forward and any choice is better than remaining within the routine of fidelity”. These people, therefore , negotiate “loyalty to God who is always faithful” with the king. “This is called apostasy”, “adultery.” They are, in fact, negotiating their values??, “ negotiating the very essence of being faithful to the Lord .”
“And this is a contradiction: we do not negotiate values??, but faithfulness. And this is the fruit of the devil, the prince of this world , who leads us forward with the spirit of worldliness. And then there are the direct consequences. They accepted the habits of the pagan, then a further step: the king wrote to his whole kingdom that all should be one people, and everyone would abandon their customs. A globalizing conformity of all nations is not beautiful, rather, each with own customs but united, but it is the hegemonic uniformity of globalization, the single line of thought . And this single line of thought is the result of worldliness . “

All this talk of a "learning curve" on how to be pope and off the cuff comments taken as heterodox. I am not a pope or a bishop or a priest but I am 100% certain that I have never said anything regarding the Faith that could be mistaken for heresy. And the simple reason for this is that I believe what the Church and For me the Faith isn't a philosophy but it's sharing in the mystical body of Christ. Francis really believes the things he constantly says and I know this for a fact because he says them on a daily basis. He just doesn't have accidental slips of the tongue. He believes this stuff. Look at the state of his old diocese. An empty seminary that was full when he became ordinary. Empty convents and just try and find a Mass that is celebrated with any reverence at all. By their fruits you will know them. Christ said FEED my sheep, not smell like them. He causes confusion not clarity. And confusion does NOT come from Christ.

So, what do we do, Anonymous? What if this just gets worse and worse? Where do we go? I am lucky to be at St. Jo's, where the Mass and Liturgy are taken seriously and celebrated with passion and dignity. When I go to other Churches out of town or in other areas, the contrast is stark. I think we know that Churches like St. Jo's are the exception and not the rule.
But, what happens if the walls crumble…what happens if the Church begins to accept gay marriage, contraception, women priests, etc. Just being in a Church where the Mass is well-celebrated won't mean much then, will it? What happens?

Until God takes him from us,the person who sits in the Chair of Peter is the one we have.
I figure the one thing I can do is pray for Holy Father and indeed all bishops priests. I think to myself "What good would would it do to criticize?".
At least Catherine of Sienna directly corresponded with Pope Gregory XI which I know is something that would not be possible today unless one personally knew the pope.

Should we not be doing things to build up the Body of Christ?
Is it not written that when Jesus came to His native place (Nazareth)," he was not able
to perform any mighty deed there" and so was amazed at the peoples lack of faith?
We should commit ourselves to spiritual works which will be a help and not to those things
which can have no good effect.
We should pray for an increase of
faith, hope and love by which we will, with the help of the Holy Spirit, bring all things as they ought to be, into actuality.

How is criticizing a pope who is wrong not building up the Body of Christ. Actually it's very Catholic and a Christian act to correct error. St. Paul corrected a pope to his face if memory serves and even boasted of it. Sitting back and remaining silent in the face of all the confusion that comes from Rome on a daily basis is one reason why the Church is in the state it's in. I'm not saying I am not a loyal son of the Church and don't have respect for Pope Francis. But when NARAL thanks him for being pro abortion something is wrong. When the bishops of Germany use the pope's own words to rationalize their disobedience to the Cong. For the Doctrine of the Faith something is wrong. I am a Catholic and I don not think it is asking too much to expect the pope to act, look, speak and teach like all popes have done throughout history. The very least that I expect from a pope is clarity of teaching, not confusion and ambiguity.
