PRIESTLY ORDINATION AT THE CATHEDRAL BASILICA OF SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST

Father Nate Swan was ordained a priest today. He is a convert of mine from St. Joseph Church in Macon, aroung 2011 I think. I was honored to vest him.

My hair looks better in the Ordinary Form of the Mass rather than the Extraordinary Form!

A dab of product will smooth those flyaways, Fr.

Congratulations to the newly ordained!

It's nice to see a smile on Nate's face.
Did he have to duck down for you to get over his head?!
Congratulations to both of you.

Sophia here: Congratulations Father, on this joyous "Paul and Timothy" occasion for you and Nate-Father Nate Swan! Congratulations also to the other new Priests for the Diocese of Savannah, Father Emmanuel Antwi and Father Christopher Awiliba!

This is such a glorious time for the Church -the consecration of new (holy) priests to serve God in such a very special way- shepherding His people unto Eternal Life with Him! May God continue to Bless and strengthen all new priests to walk faithfully in this, the vocation to which they are called- in the calm and joyful times but especially in the dark and turbulent times which lie ahead!
