I like the look. What did it look like originally. There are some things missing.

Still appears harsh and sterile to me, the stained glass all which provides any warmth or intimacy, otherwise it indistinguishable from so many easily cleaned spartan public buildings, and am not taken by the wood plank origami above the altar which also fails to dispel the antisceptic brick and steel look of the place.

It leaves me feeling cold and alone in a modern art set piece, where instead of the scent of incense, one expects to catch a whiff of cleaning hospital supplies.

Put another way, pull out the crucifix, scramble any overt religious theme in the stained glass, maybe remove the morgue slab altar, and you are left with a 1950s-1960s airport concourse.

I like the look. I hope the sanctuary has not been marred with an "altar facing the people." Also, it would be nice to see how the bishop's throne is positioned?
