If that is true than it would appear, as unlikely as this would be, that the Chicago Cardinal is aligning himself with progressive cardinals and bishop in the Germanic countries and striving to get bishops here to join him in the German schism. Just saying.And Rocco, during Holy Week, still has on his blog Pope Francis’ Christmas Mass at Night! What’s up with that whispered the loggia!
Yes, my new bishop, Bishop Stephen Parkes gave a far better homily than the good Cardinal in Chicago or any archbishop showcased in Palma’s tweets. No brag, just fact! And yes, our cathedral on Tuesday at 11 AM had just about has many laity as Chicago’s cathedral and we didn’t have to harass them about wearing their masks throughout the entire liturgy as they did in Chicago!

Baltimore definitely had laity present.
But I suspect you wish the Chrism Mass was held on Holy Thursday, as in days of old. Given the geography of your diocese, though, I can understand Tuesday making more sense so priests don't have to rush home to the outer reaches of the diocese to be ready for the Holy Thursday liturgy. That is not so much a problem in Atlanta as almost everyone in the Archdiocese is within 2 hours of the cathedral---well, depending on traffic!

Chicago's cathedral has always been cold and barren I cannot find any early photos before its "WRECKOVATION" hope someone can provide any just curious what it looked like when it was "CATHOLIC"
