ONE CAN ONLY SCRATCH ONE’S HEAD AND THINK OLD SCRATCH HAS WON THIS ONE AT LEAST TEMPORARILY

Edward Pentin shows altars not being used this Monday morning, as private Masses are forbidden in St. Peter’s Basilica beginning today after about 1,500 years of having them.

It is beyond absurd and a scandal of immense proportions. And in a period of the pandemic hitting Italy once again, the high altar not being used since the pachamama debacle and so many other absurdities.

And Catholics criticizing the pope because he happened to teach something Catholic, that the Church can bless persons but can never bless mortal sin. Duh!

The powers that be have a better understanding than you in that a large church is too cluttered and disorganized with all the spontaneous worshipping going on and detracts from its rightful function as a museum with official worship displays.

Currently, the Secretariat of State is in negotiation with the Disney animatronics folks to see if an automated Mass display can be arranged, and visitors can don headphones to hear in their own language, after of course, swiping a card for a nominal fee, and no more problems with sick or late priests.
