I had supper Monday night at Pomodori’s on Hilton Head. It is a small hole in the wall Italian eatery. I had fried calamari for an appetizer and the main course was pappardelle con capesante e vodka which is house made vodka sauce, handcut pasta, pancetta, sea scallops, fresh basil. Delicioso!

Nothing beats Italian---CNN the last few Sundays has had specials featuring the different food regions of Italy, and from a food standpoint, you can't go wrong in any of them. Now when it comes to "English" cuisine, well, that may be different!
Mexican and Italian food I find quite similar, in that I love both, so long as they are not actually Mexican or Italian.
